5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic continuation to a Fantastic series, 27 Sep 2010
Having become a Massive fan of Neal Asher, i wait in anticipation for his future books in the Polity ubiverse.
This one is a great continuation of the series, where new characters are brought to life and a truely BIG step is taken in the polity universe by introducing us slowly to a new supposidly extinct race.
Well Done Neal, bring on more... Please

The Light of Burning Shadows (Iron Elves)
by Chris Evans
Edition: Paperback
Price: £5.45

4.0 out of 5 stars A good continuation for an exciting new series, 27 Sep 2010
Having read the first book in the series of the Iron Elves i was looking forward to this one, the second in the series.
This book brings some new aspects to the story that were not in the first book.
The book also has, what i thought was quite a twist in it towards the end, so i am looking forward to seeing how it turns out in future novels.
well worth a read.

Empire in Black and Gold (Shadows of the Apt)
Empire in Black and Gold (Shadows of the Apt)
by Adrian Tchaikovsky
Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars Just the beginning...., 29 July 2010
A good romp of a read, was not to clear at the beginning of the novel what was going on, but things became clearer as the book went on.
a fantastically original idea with plenty of scope to grow.
Not 5 stars simply because its not yet a classic, but certainly a good read.
Looking forward to reading the continuing adventures.

4.0 out of 5 stars Samsung Tocco F480, 5 Jan 2010
Ive had the phone for 18 months. so can speak with some authority.
I brought it originaly thinking from all the reviews that it was an iphone competitor, its not.
What it is though, is a thorouly good phone, that if you like touch screens will suit you well.
If you are used to using button phones like i was before it, it'll take some time to get used to the touch screen method of writting texts (slower).
The camera, good.
Battery life average to poor (need to recharge every day/day and a half.
Looks, great. I especialy like the flip screen protector.
The menu system took time to get used to, but not bad once you know it.
Would reccomend it above many other phones in its class

2.0 out of 5 stars Fair start... Poor finish, 3 Jan 2010
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
I had great expectatons before i brought the game, form the very beginning it became clear that the game was very linear, not what i was expecting.
As the game moved on, and i started playing the second game, it occured to me that it was exactly the same as the first, and the same with the 3rd.
very disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great addition to the cormac saga, 3 Jan 2010
I am a great fan of Neal Asher, consuming his books as soon as they come out.
A great addition tom the saga, continuing the story in an exciting way and paving the way for more prequels and sequels in equal measure.
Keep 'em coming Neal, please.

4.0 out of 5 stars It does what it says on the tin, 3 Jan 2010
Having never used a memory stick before and not being a whizz at things digital, i was not really expecting much more than an item that will increase the memory capacity on my phone... low and behold thats what it did.
Not much more to add really...
I had no problems putting it into the slot in the mobile, nor any problems with accessing it once it was in.
