Kolay 6 Pack iPad 3 Screen Protector for New Apple iPad Tablet 3rd Generation 2012

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, 22 May 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Great product, admittedly quite tricky to apply given the size of the screen, but follow the instructions, don't rush, and work in as dust-free an environment as possible. Once applied you would barely know that the screen protector is there, and it doesn't seem to dim in any way the retina display of the new iPad 3. Excellent product and prompt delivery, thoroughly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product but will dull the Retina Display, 22 May 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The really excellent thing about this screen protector is that it can be easily removed from the iPad and washed if necessary eg. if you don't do a very good job of application & get dust trapped underneath. It also ships with a reusable backing sheet, plus sturdy cardboard packaging, so that it can be removed and stored. It is quite matte and does dull the retina display somewhat, but equally this makes the iPad much easier to use in bright sunlight.

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes an excellent wrist strap for iPhone when using it as a camera!, 22 May 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I actually purchased this wrist strap to use with my iPhone 4S when on holiday using it as a camera, since the phone is quite slippery and I was worried about dropping it. The attachment cord is really slim so easily fits onto a phone, and the wristband itself comes with adjustable slider so that you can fit it snugly onto your wrist. Great product, very sturdy, but you still have a spare as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars A true classic that cannot fail to appeal to children, 6 Sep 2001
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I still have my original first edition of Fungus from 1978, a book which was a firm favourite then and remains so to this day. I read Raymond Briggs' book so many times that I can still quote from it ("Nothing is permanent but woe" as seen on a bogey sandwich board; "Fungus inspects his trousers which have been marinading overnight 'mmmm! these really stink!'")and I find the book enduringly funny yet poignant. Fungus is a decent hard-working bogey but asks himself what is is all for? why do bogeymen exist? why do they have to pester and frighten the Drycleaners? (as we who live on the surface are known.) It seems as if no one has the answer, not even his beloved wife Mildew "the ugliest woman in Bogeydom."
Children (and doubtless many adults) will love this brilliantly illustrated book, and all the detail so lovingly described within - it is funny, rude, tender, thoughtful and even moving. I cannot recommend it enough.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4)

5.0 out of 5 stars You're NEVER too old for Harry Potter!, 16 July 2000
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having devoured this book over three days (work being an inconvenient necessity )I am wondering how on earth I am going to last the intervening months until the next one. I've been an avid reader since childhood (Roald Dahl, Beverley Nichols and C.S.Lewis being amongst my favourites), and I know that had Harry Potter been around back then doubtless I would have re-read each book many times by now.
Sitting down to read Harry Potter is a totally immersive experience - I am barely aware of what is going on around me whilst I am reading, and this weekend has been a blissful answering-machine-on-all-other-jobs-on-hold time as I finished the book. Admitedly HP4 did get off to rather a slow start, and might have benefited from some pruning at the beginning but once beyond that I found it hard to put down.
As a 34-year old I have no hesitation in recommending the Harry Potter books to anyone, regardless of their age. I recently saw two other adults on the train, four days after publication, lapping up the book like greedy cats drinking cream. I wonder if, like me, they will be feeling slightly bereft when they finish 'Goblet of Fire' and seriously consider turning to the beginning to start all over again?
