Essex Boy: My Story
Essex Boy: My Story
by Kirk Norcross
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting read! Far better than expected., 1 July 2015
This review is from: Essex Boy: My Story (Paperback)
Only bought it because it was in the sale and I wanted something light to read after reading a few books that were heavy going. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and could not put it down, one of the best celeb bios I have read in a while. Easy reading but he has an interesting story to tell. Well worth a read. An ideal beach read.

Had to put it down. Badly written and jumps about all over the place. Just not interesting. Feel bad giving it to the charity shop

Sugarbabe
Sugarbabe
by Holly Hill
Edition: Paperback
Price: £9.99

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok for a very rainy day, 23 Oct. 2014
This review is from: Sugarbabe (Paperback)
Interesting read.....but the the author is incredibly annoying. She constantly talks about how amazingly beautiful she is and how every man at any given location is immediately attracted to her, again and again, wears thin and I really don't find her to be very likable at all. She doesn't even really succeed in becoming a 'sugarbabe' as most of the men have sex with her and then bin her off within the week. She comes across as either a slut or a prostitue, maybe a bit of both. She just seems to fancy everyone and even though she has sex with many men she still can't pay her rent or buy food, so not glamorous at all. Saying that it is well written and some parts I would hate to admit, but are probably true about male behaviour. I had this on my wish list for a while but a bit disappointed. I wouldn't rush to buy or read this but if you have a very rainy day then maybe consider a read.

A good read, struggled to put it down. Well written, interesting and a splash of humour. Very honest account. I have read similar books and this is by far the best. Well worth a read.

Strip City: A Stripper's Farewell Journey Across America
Strip City: A Stripper's Farewell Journey Across America
by Lily Burana
Edition: Paperback

2.0 out of 5 stars Not quite what it says it is......., 25 Sept. 2014

Ok.....but not what it says it is. Lily spends the vast majority of her time avoiding travelling so she can be with her fiancée, so really not a lot of meat on the bones. A lot of recalling previous tales and childhood even midway through the book and quite tiresome. The interesting bits are good, but few and far between. If lily had put her heart into doing what it says on the cover it would have been a far more interesting read. It was well written, just extremely padded out.

Boring and the author is irritating. Padded everything out to make stories out of every little thing. Yawn. Don't bother with this.

Loved this insight into Britney's life. Not all that glitters is gold and it gives you an understanding of her sadness and what makes her happy. Even non britney fans will enjoy. Love this girl, not fake and just a real person with real struggles and real issues.
