5.0 out of 5 stars Adorable little bed, perfect for a growing toddler., 11 April 2010
This cute little bed is perfect for my two year old after escaping her cot.
Just like Goldilocks, it is the right size to provide comfort and space for our growing little angel.I can't imagine needing a full size single bed until she's five years old, it's just so cute.
The head rails wrap around the sides, giving security and allowing more room to prop up the ever-growing parade of soft toys and the little foot end provides room for the overspill of less favourable teddies to rest against.
The bed was so simple to put together I almost didn't have to wait for my husband to come home from work to finish the job I had started-and the delivery was less than three days. The price is unbeatable too with a mattress included too!
All that's required is a well behaved toddler who sleeps through the night oh and some toddler bed sized bedding that doesn't include Peppa Pig would be nice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spookily clever little toy, 28 Dec. 2005
This review is from: 20Q (Toy)
There is no longer an excuse for ever being bored again.
This little toy was bought for my 12yr old & everybody in our house plays with it, with an age range between 8 & 50yrs.
It's so simple yet so clever; just think of any object & 20Q will ask you questions about it which you answer yes, no, sometimes or don't know. After 20 questions it will guess what you are thinking, with often mind-blowing accuracy.
So far, 20Q has guessed correctly many everyday objects such as a thimble,a pencil, toothpaste etc to the less obvious such as a fairy, a rainbow & even urine.
This little toy which is small & compact enough to carry anywhere, has really captured my family's imagination, what a surprising toy this has turned out to be.

5.0 out of 5 stars the very 1st mr man, 18 May 2004
Mr Tickle was Roger Hargreaves' first Mr Man book, the idea came to him when his son asked what a tickle looked like.
"Tickles are small and round and they have arms that stretch and stretch and stretch."
There is no moral to this story, just heaps of tickles and giggles. What more could anyone ask for in a book?

4.0 out of 5 stars have a nose at this, 18 May 2004
As you'd expect, Mr Nosy is a very inquisitive fellow, who cannot help but poke his rather large, green nose, into other peoples' affairs.
When you think "nosy", you think irritating, right? Not our friend Mr Nosy, he's really quite lovable and its quite obvious that he just can't help himself.
Like all the Mr Men books, the story is just the right length, not too short but not too long to become boring. The only trouble being is that once you buy one book you just have to keep going until you've bought the whole collection.
I'm not giving Mr Nosy 5 stars as its a bit of a shame that he doesn't meet any other Mr Men in the story, only real people, which is quite a mystery to me- however, its a bit of a mystery as to why I'm sitting here writing a Mr Nosy review in the first place.

Little Miss Shy (Little Miss Library)

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for Little Miss Shy!, 10 Jan. 2003
Well what can I say about Little Miss Shy, a young lady who suffers from acute social phobia, who suffers a panic attack when the postman knocks on the door with, I might add, a party invitation.
After a day spent deliberating on whether she should go or not, Little Miss Shy is persuaded to, and does she manage to enjoy herself, which Mr Man does she be-friend? that would be telling wouldn't it.
My young daughter, who is painfully shy herself, particularly enjoys this book. Can't say that Little Miss Shy has changed her life in any way, or has inspired her to take the lead in the Christmas Panto, but she can at least chuckle at her own shyness now.
