5.0 out of 5 stars A must read, 24 Feb. 2013
This review is from: The Darkest Minds (Hardcover)
This is one of the best books i ve read over the past few years.
The story is unique, nothing i ve read before. It a for teenagers but honestly i m older than that and i enjoyed it. I love get writing style too, very direct, easy going, elaborate at Times. The characters have very distinct personalities. There is a little humour l, a little drama and an ending you Will not expect.
The best part of it all is that bracken makes this dystopian story very real.
I won t go into details with the plot, but trust me when i say this is the new trilogy and i Would not be' surprised if there Will be' a movie about it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Urban fantasy - great book, 26 Sept. 2009
I read this book in two days and I already started reading the second one. I think Cassandra Clare is a good writer, her writing is smooth never boring and her characters are quite interesting (in fact I can't wait to find out where she is going with the plot because she "takes sharp turns" in her story).

The story is about a teenager, Clary who together with her best friend and on what seemed to be a standard evening, finds out who she really is and that someone has played with her memories. All her life, all she knows is shattered. The world will never be as she once saw it!!!! She meets interesting people on the way that help find out her true self and rescue those she loves and that are suddenly in great danger.

There's love, envy, passion, betrayal...everything that a good plot needs.
I would recommend it to teenagers and people in their twenties too.
