1.0 out of 5 stars More photo album than travel guide., 1 Jun. 2009
Bought this book instead on the Lonely Planet one for a 2 week trip to China, and found it to be quite useless. It has lovely pictorial guides to the main attractions but NO information on travel (bus numbers, train etc that you get in the Lonely Planet, No information on accomodation, or eating out or anything really. There is limited background information on the country and sights and has the feel of a book which was compiled after a few hours searching for content on the internet. We ended up using a Lonely Planet book which one of our friends had bought, which knocks the socks off this lightweight pretender.

This book is invaluable for the complete beginner, having trawled through the dreamweaver help topics and got no-where, this book is set out in such a way that you can take as much information as you like, skipping over sections which you don't require immediately, building a website within hours. The chapters are well orgainised with full colour step-by-step instructions and cover the absolute basics right through to many of the packages advanced functions. A big thumbs up.
