Managed to get Mother's entire M&S shop into the bag which is stable, sturdy, spacious and doesn't look bad either. Mother is 85 and loves it, partly because it's a steadying influence for her wobbly walking. Good value.
Very happy with the style, shape and structure of this bag which is tough but a good weight. The mouse was a bonus - would have bought the bag anyway. The backpack is used daily and copes not only with the laptop but all kinds of extras in the other pockets. The straps are comfortable and distribute the overall weight well. Recommended.
Stewart Andersen's life in Ibiza isn't remarkable in itself, but his wonderfully observed account of people, places and pets lets you meander through a lost world. From the fat priest on the ship out to the island to bemused bus drivers - one with his busload of tiddly tourists is enrolled in dead of night to help Stewart's dozy horse out of a ditch - you get to know them all. Laugh aloud, cry with a smile on your face, smell the food, feel the sun on your skin. Enjoy a place that tolerates daft bureaucracy and a very relaxed timetable, keeps doors unlocked and a warm welcome always ready. Open a bottle of wine and enjoy an Englishman's transformation into an honorary Ibicenco.
