5.0 out of 5 stars Expensive - but worth the money, 26 Oct. 2011
Living in central London my eyes suffer because of the dry air of a centrally heated flat and the dust from various building projects and road traffic in my area. (The second I leave town, my eyes are fine, so alas this is an environmental issue.)
I have two air filter machines. My old one, which is also an ioniser, is brilliant but requires an air filter replacement - and the filter is no longer supplied. It's also quite noisy. This air purifier/humidifier is extremely quiet and as the advantage that its parts are washable so there's no need to go out and buy new filters.
My only slight complaint, design wise is that the water tank does not clip on - it's tricky to move when filled up with water. Therefore, either put it on a wheeled plant pot type trolley, or think carefully wher you site it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Seriously expensive Ink, 3 Nov. 2010
The print quality on this machine is fine, scanning and copying also not bad at all. However, the printer's cheaperness is almost completely outweighed by the cost of ink cartridges and the short lifetime of said. You get about 150 pages from the black ink - then its £& for a new one. If you do a lot of B/W printing a laser printer woudl be a better bet. Note to Epson: Allow for a larger black ink cartridge in your next model...
