Expensive - but worth the money, 26 Oct 2011
Living in central London my eyes suffer because of the dry air of a centrally heated flat and the dust from various building projects and road traffic in my area. (The second I leave town, my eyes are fine, so alas this is an environmental issue.)
I have two air filter machines. My old one, which is also an ioniser, is brilliant but requires an air filter replacement - and the filter is no longer supplied. It's also quite noisy. This air purifier/humidifier is extremely quiet and as the advantage that its parts are washable so there's no need to go out and buy new filters.
My only slight complaint, design wise is that the water tank does not clip on - it's tricky to move when filled up with water. Therefore, either put it on a wheeled plant pot type trolley, or think carefully wher you site it.
