Picking through the albums of the year I found this gem. Only 7 tracks but all long (2 of them 10 minutes) but it seeps into your brain. Best description it is like the 80s metal dance music (Front 242, DAF, etc), highly addictive, no wonder they were chosen as part of the Olympic opening ceremony

I listened to the tracks early in the year and it was only when I listened to them a second and third time I realised how good this album is.

They are supporting Everything Everything later this year and their music is not a million miles away, so if you like 'Arc' you'll probably like this

4.0 out of 5 stars Change of direction again, 20 May 2013

With their last album"It's Blitz" being electropop and very immediate, this is a change in direction and is far more experimental but is really good. If you like their previous albums you'll like this one, the title track Mosquito and Area 52 being especially worth checking out

This song is the best song I have heard this year, a slow burner that eventually eats in to you brain making you want to hear it again and again.

Superb.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very Commercial album, 21 Oct 2012

First listening I though the album was very commercial (or cheesy as my daughter put it) without the edge of the previous 3 albums. But after a few listens it does grow on you, the 2 ballads "Here with Me" and "Be Still" especially strong (though one of my mates ask me if I'd bought the new Chris De Burgh album!).

It is a good album but not their best.
