Draper 71415 Soldering Iron Kit
Draper 71415 Soldering Iron Kit
Price: 10.00

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Iron, tips suck though, 6 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The iron itself is decent, takes a while to heat up and there's no indication so you have to test with tinning to make sure it's at temperature.

The tips aren't great, no small tip for delicate work. I did solder a small PCB with the large tip but it wasn't ideal. After a few weeks of use, the tips completely fell apart. I'd recommend a set of good tips in addition to this.

I didn't use the stand as it looked almost useless, I already had a coil stand so used it with that. The tweezers came in surprisingly useful and the supplied solder is lead free and adequate.

For the price it's worth it, but you might find yourself buying a few additions, tips, stand etc...

5.0 out of 5 stars Not as new-agey as it looks on the cover!, 25 Jun 2013

Athol Kay is pretty much the man when it comes to helping married men keep the passion alive in their relationships. His Married Man Sex Life Primer hits you round the head with the hard truths.

This book has the same core of truth through it but is applicable outside of sexual relationships and is focused on taking control of the many aspects of life that we often let control us.

Athol gives some excellent insight into how to be the man or woman that you want to be, the focus is on objectively looking at your situation and asking what you can do to improve it. He gives clear examples and a lot of anecdotes which are clearly borne from his experience in helping many couples with their relationship issues.

Athol does have a tendency to take his analogies a bit far, which is about the only negative in this book, I was sick reading about vampires by the end. Not enough of a negative to give anything less than five stars though. Athols advice is well researched, tried, tested and it works.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome., 12 April 2007
This book was amazing, it was engaging, exciting and interesting. I enjoy historical fiction and non-fiction and this book had the right balance to make it excellent.

This was the first Iggulden title I read, afterwards I went straight to the book shop and bought the entire Emperor series. (which is also a great read).

I'm anxiously awaiting the remainder of this series.

2.0 out of 5 stars OK-ish, 12 April 2007
This review is from: The Runner (Paperback)
This was one of those books where I was bored of it before the end but finished it just to see if my predictions of the outcome were true.

It's very hard to write a thriller with genuine twists and turns but in the case of this book I don't think Reich tried very hard. It's a very basic thriller with some whatif's around familiar events/names.
