I enjoyed this book very much it had a rather unique story and kept you turning pages all the way through. A great book to read by the pool or on the beach. It's not going to get the Booker prizes but it isd a great read. Well done Mr Wiley

2.0 out of 5 stars What a huge disappointment., 29 Sept. 2014

I have read all of Ken Follett's book and this one is terrible not like him at all.

His previous books have had great stories but this one has No story, just a repetition of modern day history with characters that really don't have any close connection to the strong families in part I and II.

I think he seems to have lost his way in this last part of the Trilogy and has forgotten that there is a big difference from writing unique stories from different times in history to a thin cast of characters intertwined in actual world events.
Sorry Mr. Follett not up to your usual high standard.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mr Silva gets better and better, 27 July 2014

Many authors tend to get complacent and their annual contract commiment to their publisher seems to be a chore. Not with Daniel Silva. Even if you havent read his earlier books, his charaters get more depth every time and the stories are logical and credable unlike many who write in this gendre. My only disappointment having just finished The Heist is I now have to wait another year for the next one. Bravo Daniel!
