Took this on a multi-day cycling event and used it to top-up my Garmin 800 during the day. I was delighted how it worked and it managed to record 3 days in a row with over 350km per day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book with some hidden gems, 3 Jan. 2014

I bought the first book, which had a lot of TdF and Giro climbs. This has more variety, for example it has climbs in Norway and UK. A great bucket list!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great device, 3 Jan. 2014

Great device, I prefer it to the iPad. Taking off one star because it would not let me install Netflix from the appstore. Fortunately I found a workaround and can watch movies.

Getting Started with RStudio
Getting Started with RStudio
by John Verzani
Edition: Paperback
Price: £13.50

3.0 out of 5 stars Light on content, 9 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Its an ok book, but on such a small book, a couple of chapters are wasted. Downloading and installing R and R-Studio should not require so much detail for the intended audience and there is also a chapter about creating your own packages, which is not really useful.

Data Mining with Rattle and R: The Art of Excavating Data for Knowledge Discovery (Use R!)

4.0 out of 5 stars Great book for people new to R, 9 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Good book for visualisation and data exploration. I felt that the data mining chapters went into too much depth on the actual algorithms and not into enough depth on the process and the parameter values. For someone new to R, this is a great first book, as it allows you to start using R without having to learn the programming language.
