5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book for a young dragon lover, 15 Nov. 2014
A wonderful book for a young dragon lover, even an adult like me enjoyed reading it ^_^ The story teaches us about friendship and acceptance of other's differences.

I originally purchased the Kindle version of this, but loved it so much, I now have the paperback copy too!

This review is from: The Dragon Tree (Kindle Edition)
I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Dragon Tree. It is well written, fast paced, and was difficult to put down. The only downside is the end came and I really want to know what happens to the trio next! Hopefully the second book in the series is not too far away.

1.0 out of 5 stars Save your money, 14 Sept. 2011
Honestly, don't waste your money on this book, pretty much the entire contents can be found online for free. In fact it looks like the author took a lot of stuff she found on the internet, put it together and turned it into a book (I'm not saying that's what she did, that's just the feeling I get while reading this book).

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-have for those who love mythology., 25 Oct. 2003
Anyone who wishes to study mythology, and in particular the creatures of mythology, should own a copy of this book.
Its one of those books you can just pick up, open anywhere, and just read. Each entry is well written and you can't help reading the next, and the next! A great starting point for studies and also as an aid for finding little facts you might not have known before.

3.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful but definitely aimed at kids!, 25 Oct. 2003
As a collector of anything dragon-related I had to have a copy of this book but, after being told it was a 'wonderful, complete guide to dragons', I felt a little cheated.
This is definitely designed for children, who will love the lift-up flaps and extra goodies inserted in the pages. Yes, it IS a very beautiful book but if you are a serious student of dragonlore you're not going to get much useful information out of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun and enjoyable, 29 Jun. 2003
Dragon Companion is a very fun book to read and extremely enjoyable. It does tend to grip you in places and makes it very hard to put down! The story continues right to the very last page ... and beyond, now I have to get the follow-on book to know what happens next.
