This was the first time I had read a book by roger Pearce and it will certainly not be the last. I was enthralled from the beginning, it raced along. I really enjoyed the way the characters were portrayed and developed. A great read

I could hardly wait for this book to become available as the previous one had left the reader with a real cliff hanger. Sometimes when I am anticipating the publication of a book it can disappoint, but not on this occasion. As ever Quintin Jardine delivered a fantastic read which keep me interested right up to the very end. I am already eagerly awaiting the next one

As ever, Stella Rimington draws you gradually into the story - you feel you know the characters - she really knows her stuff, interesting, but not fantasy - you really believe this is happening - I loved it

As always Quintin Jardine never disappoints. I love the way his character Bob Skinner has evolved through all his books. He is a strong man, but with the same vulnerabilities as everyone elso. Also the evolution of the recurring characters is always interesting, and not always as one would imagine, which I love. The plots are intriguing and intricate & always suck me right in.

I have very fond memories of this TV series & re-visiting it has not been disappointing - it is wonderful to be able to purchase such a retro series & I will probably buy the remainder in time

I had high expectations of the kindle, but it has already surpassed those. I just love the convenience of it, compact & the speed of purchasing my favourite book instantly. Also I have downloaded a few free books - it is a great opportunity to discover new authors & genres - I only have my kindle a short time but am completely enraptured by it, I am certain it will only improve with time.
