5.0 out of 5 stars Informative, 18 May 2015

This book makes it clear dementia is a progressive illness rather than an aberrant personality trait. The outlook is unrelentingly gloomy but the information is oddly helpful because of it; I wanted to know more about the stages of the illness, and now I do.

This review is from: Dark Canvas (Kindle Edition)
The intense passion and constant suspense in Dark Canvas make it a real page turner, and I love beautiful Abbey and gorgeous Jake Westaway - these are great characters with an emotional authenticity that makes this a book to remember. Can't wait to read more from Julia Wild.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Art Forger's Daughter is an enjoyable and intelligent read., 16 Jan. 2015
This is a tense and compelling story on the subjective nature of truth as the heroine, Beatrix, unpicks the complex events that led to her father's death. The Art Forger's Daughter is an enjoyable and intelligent read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining, constructive and inspiring, 13 May 2014

This is a power house of a book and Bridget Whelan's energy hums off the page. It is written with the authority of a creative writing tutor but also with warmth and an obvious love of her subject that makes writing seem easy, and writing well appear achievable. By presenting the exercises with an emphasis on play rather than work, Bridget encourages her readers to liberate their imagination. It's a great cure for writer's block!
