The Great Train Robbery: The Untold Story from the Closed Investigation Files
Price: £5.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Very informative, 18 Sep 2013

I thought I knew all that happened in those days, I'm old enough. The book is very long & detailed, possibly not for everyone, but I had no problem reading it through to the end. If the subject matter interests you, then this will fill in all the gaps, & more.

I always thought I knew virtually everything about Kenny. Well after reading this I do. Very detailed, very funny at times. A good detailed story about our Ken.

5.0 out of 5 stars A rambling story, 18 Sep 2013

I read a review elsewhere that Ken was all over the place in this book. But then that was Ken in real life anyway. Ken was a genius who also was very shy. That all came out in this book. If you were a Cuddly Ken fan, you must read this.

I found it interesting & a very readable narrative. I have found that there seem to be far more former police officer from "up north" writing about their lives than southerners.

I cannot remember reading a book with so many spelling errors. Should have taken a bit more time with this.
As to "The funny side of British Policing", very few "funny" bits, too many rants against the job & Government.
