1.0 out of 5 stars VERY Poor, 24 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very poor quality sheets indeed an extremely small 'King Size'. At first when you open the package the sheets look and feel acceptable; however, within 2-3 washes whatever the company uses to disguise the poor quality wears off leaving you the customer with a rag essentially and deserves to be thrown away.

Best quality Egyptian sheets so far! I would go as far as to suggest that Viceroybedding 400 thread sheets are of better quality thatn many other 500-600 thread sheets, first class for a reasonable price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably The Best Game You'll Ever Play, 14 Mar 2014
This review is from: Dark Souls II (PS3) (Video Game)
With Demon Souls and Dark Souls following of course. The game is so intelligent that it places the title in the pantheon of the very best games; however, it is the gamer's hunger for more that raises it above all others. You'll die, you'll die a lot, get that straight, though unlike other games it feels so GOOD.
Why's that you ask?
Because you've learnt from each battle and learning feels great in this finest of games, every death leads you further into the world that is Dranglaec, overcoming your enemies as you gain a grip on their multitude of combat techniques.
Dark Souls once again begs the question why IS From Software the only game company to offer such incredible combat? Each weapon has its own animations, each move has a secondary, further move, you can parry and riposte, bringing what were once the deadliest of enemies to their knees with the martial experience you've learnt defeating their fellows.

We move through the labyrinthine dungeons, torch barely flickering, throwing up dark, menacing vistas with terrible gruesome creatures whom have never seen the light of day, cowering in the light of your torch but who are so quick to strike if you show any weakness or fumble for even one moment.
How does it compare to Dark Souls? Well, very well, the graphics are superior, the game mechanics more fluid and the travel system enhanced and get this.....the game is even HARDER, offering up yet further difficultly if you select a certain Covenant.
The humour is still there waiting to make you laugh, wryly realizing the developers have and indeed are walking with you in your path to beat...Dark Souls 2.

The Blood Never Dried: A People's History of the British Empire
The Blood Never Dried: A People's History of the British Empire
by John Newsinger
Edition: Paperback

1.0 out of 5 stars Marxist, whats more to be said, 4 Mar 2014
Newsinger is intellectually dishonest with a penchant for camouflaging success with failure, his faulty, revisionist view of the British Empire tells you more about the author than his subject. Here is a man who views everything through the lens of his ideology and that lens is at times rose-colored and alternatively muddy. One of the biggest concerns about his work is the lack of peer review, The Blood Never Dried is highly predictable, pedantic and gives the reader a twisted and toxic sense of historical reality but what can one expect from a darling of Marxism?
I am sure that American readers will lap this book up satisfying themselves that Hollywood history is the real deal.

1.0 out of 5 stars Utter Mess, 27 Oct 2013
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Another fail from the German publishers Kalypso, first of all the Realms Of Arkania remake Blade Of Destiny which was probably THE worst game ever to grace our desktops to Demonicon the second. Okay, its not AS bad but it's poor very poor. I have a cutting edge pc and the game struggled, why you ask? Lack of opitimization, I know unbelievable right? The developers failed to optimize the game before release, laggy throughout, poor voice acting, terrible graphics, combat rather than intuitive is messy, confused and poorly implemented.
Look, the game was developed in 2012 and released in 2013, essentially at this point it should be at least as good graphically as Dragon Age, Dark Souls or Drakensang yet not only doesn't it compare favourably but its worse much worse, taking the gamer to a place he definitely doesn't want to go, BoredomAngryVille, USA.
1 of out five stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Lightweight But Powerful 360 Degree Sweeper Ideal For Sinusitis Sufferers And The Elderly, 13 Sep 2013
This review is from: Swivel Sweeper G2 by Thane Direct
This product is astonishing plain and simple, the G2's 360 degree function allows the householder to vacuum at any angle, any.
No cables with a powerful suction and a great build quality makes this THE hoover for anyone over 60 or who has a medical condition like mine that makes it nigh impossible to bend over. The elbow joints work in both directions allowing the user to reach right under tables, beds etc and hoover in unreachable areas without bending or kneeling.
Further, the sweeper operates in a manner different to many to vacuum's in that the Swivel Sweeper doesn't vibrate the carpet when hoovering and anyone with sinusitis knows that carpet vibration releases huge amounts of dust mites into the air clogging sinuses making allergies far worse. Since I've started using the Swivel Sweeper my dust allergies have reduced quite considerably, I no longer wake up with a stuffed nose or aching sinuses.

The Swivel Sweeper is cordless with a innovative charger that detaches from the unit, plugs straight into the wall charges then you simply plug it back onto the G2's pole.
In closing and with all honesty I cannot stress what an positive impact this product had on my quality of life.

Highly recommended.

The Diversity Illusion: What We Got Wrong About Immigration & How to Set It Right
The Diversity Illusion: What We Got Wrong About Immigration & How to Set It Right
by Ed West

5.0 out of 5 stars Revealing Labour's Black Propaganda, 24 April 2013
Ed West shakes apart the black propaganda the British public has been exposed to between 1997 and 2010. It is hard to believe that New Labour was able to crush freedom of speech and expression with loaded terms like 'racism' in order to disguise incompetence and ideological agendas and reminds us we must never allow anyone to repeat such treachery to western liberal values again.
The British Dream is brave and well overdue reminding us of the collusion between the biased BBC and left-wing liberal intelligentsia who suppressed so many of our cherished and hard-fought values to further the dangerous myth of multiculturalism.
Gone are the values the British built up over 2000 years whereby we learnt to cherish society, gone is the sense of community instead we are left with a 'diverse' people built upon increasingly tribal lines gazing suspiciously at each other.

1.0 out of 5 stars The Song Of Death, Avoid Like The Plague, 12 April 2013
The Left have hijacked a sweet, children's song and poisoned it, essentially making it a song that celebrates death and meanness.
If you love life don't buy this mp3 instead reflect on how far the left of British politics have fallen and that they will pervert anything even childrens songs to promote their world view.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Silent Majority Speaks Out, 12 April 2013
Don't you just love how the Left hate Mrs T?
Every time they see or hear her its a reminder of just how badly wrong they got it, they even popped onto here and 'reviewed' the song, telling us all how much they hate it.
Just what is wrong with them, has the Left descended to the party of hatred?

This was the best 79p ever spent, I have no qualms about putting my hand in my pocket for the woman who saved this country.
