4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Value, 20 Mar 2014

Good value for money. Comfortable to use. Frustrating when the battery starts to run slightly low, but as long as you have a good supply of spares, it shouldn't be a problem.

1.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't finish it..., 20 Mar 2014

I don't really understand how this has received ten 5 star reviews. It is poorly written and the plot turns are at best cliqued, at worst ridiculous.

I really hate not finishing a book, but after one particularly uninspiring plot device reared it's head, I just had to stop reading. The five star reviews suggest that things may take a turn for the better, but I'm just not willing to wade through poor writing in the hope that things improve.

An amazing album by a band that have really grown. Some mature song-writing, and musically impressive, this is a band who have come into their own. Potentially one of the albums of the year.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of His Best..., 15 May 2013

One of Frank's best outings so far. A slow burner, so put the effort in, give it a few good listens, and proper listens at that. Head phones on etc. But at over an hour long, you get a lot for your money and there's very little filler...

Nothing amazing on this album from Minus the Bear. Better to spend your money on one of their previous outings.

After their impressive cover of Gotye's 'Someone I Used To Know', it's hard to resist checking out the rest of Walk Of The Earth's material, and it's time well spent. And interesting combination of genres throughout the album, but an album worth investing in, with some ridiculously catchy songs.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Litle Disappointing..., 15 May 2013

Trio have set themselves a very high standard over the years, and 'My Shame Is True' sadly doesn't live up to their previous releases. It is by no means a bad album, but definitely not a starting point if you're just discovering Trio, and only really an essential buy if you're a hardcore Trio fan...

Brilliant horror, Marion really knows how to wield the genre. Just sadly more than a little on the short side...

Not what I expected! But very enjoyable. Glad to hear that there will be more as the story definitely feels incomplete.

4.0 out of 5 stars For Those Who Love Tolkien and Science..., 10 Jan 2013
An interesting perspective on Middle Earth through the eyes of science. Read on a whim, but pleased I did. Got a new insight into Tolkien and found a lot of the scientific principles were presented in a clearer fashion than many dedicated science books have managed...
