5.0 out of 5 stars The ULTIMATE Matrix Collection, 5 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
When I got this set back in 2008 (around my birthday), it was all I wanted. This really does contain everything the body needs, Matrix-wise, at least. It contains all the movies in special editions and tons of extra material. All of it is worth watching at least once, and much of it is worth watching several times. There is nothing that seems like it is out of place in this ultimate collection. I personally loved the new transfer of the first Matrix movie as well as the "Matrix: Revisited" documentaries for each movie.
This is the ten-disc out-of-print version containing "The Animatrix". A nine-disc version without this disc is available.
If you do buy the nine-disc version, make sure you buy "The Animatrix" seperately - it is the exactly same disc.
If you already own all three Matrix movies, maybe even in the two disc special editions, does this warrant a double dip? Yes, it certainly does! Very few extras are carried over from the previous editions and the extras for "Reloaded" and "Revolutions" are brand new. The new transfer of "The Matrix" is almost worth the price of admittance in itself, it is really that good. This is the ultimate collection for the ultimate fan. If you are new to the Matrix this is also the best way to go, as it offers the best transfers available (on DVD anyway), and the Ultimate Matrix Experience!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE Dungeon Master Guide., 5 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This revised version of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2nd Edition Dungeon Master Guide is nicely illustrated, and feels less dated than the original 2nd edition product. It is hardcover and is a good book, for experienced DM's and new ones alike.

Dungeons & Dragons Deluxe Dice (D&d Accessory) (D&d Accessory)
Dungeons & Dragons Deluxe Dice (D&d Accessory) (D&d Accessory)
by Wizards Team
Edition: Misc. Supplies

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice bag, with nice dice., 5 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
These deluxe dice, produced for Wizards of the Coast, come in a nice bag, with the "Dungeons & Dragons" sign on it. The dice are a multicoloured green with golden numbers on them. The bag holds up well, and can hold more dice than the ten supplied. The dice are of these types; all regular D&D dice are included: 1d20, 1d12, 2d10(1 with tens and 1 with ones, making a d100), 1d8, 4d6 and 1d4.
I bought these dice in 2007, and here 4 years later they are starting to look used. The gold numbers have fainted to near invisibility on several of the dice (luckily the numbers are dented into the dice). Something that has not happened to any of my other dice, which I have had even longer. The bag still holds all my dice very nicely.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good monster guide - must have for any Dungeon Master., 5 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this book way after the release of the 3.5 edition had come out. This book still holds up. It is, in my opinion, the best version of Dungeons and Dragons. The "Monstrous Manual" is also the most complete monster companion ever released for any version of Dungeons and Dragons, containing many monsters collected from different smaller, more obscure releases. It is a must have for any Dungeon Master.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well, I guess it is good. Better than most of it's kind, 15 Oct 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A good series of online shorts to coincide with the release of the "30 Days of Night" DVD, even though I picked it up a little late. Same good atmosphere. Same blood levels (definitely a plus). Just sad that a good percentage of the only 39 min. long miniseries is recaps/ previews of the former/ next short.
The picture is very clear, in anamorphic wide-screen 16:9 format. 4/5 stars
The sound is all right over all, though an English Dolby 2.0 Stereo audio track is all we are treated with. A bit disappointing, but there has not been given a great effort to make a great DVD release of an online miniseries... 3/5 stars
The story is thin, but gives a great look at the time just before "30 Days of Night" and why the vampires come to Alaska in the first place. 3/5 stars
There is a good amount of extras, for this kind of release, which is not only promoting the "30 Days of Night" DVD. 4/5 stars
In overall a good release - 4/5 stars, not an average.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining, see it, bleeders!, 19 July 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This movie by Burton and Depp is rich in both story depth, character development and blinding visuals, though last thing mentioned is not completely true, as there has not been a dirtier looking London for a very long time. Still the picture is great. There is no lack of Special Features in this set. Being a 2-Disc Special Edition, this is to be expected. There are both some features about the making of the movie, about the story of Sweeney Todd and a feature about a special Horror Theatre tradition, just to mention a few. Both discs have interactive menus. The package is a traditional keep case, the ones that WB use for all their 2-disc features: a space for one disc in each side of the keep case. The box art is nice, and matches the feel of the movie.
Overall, a very good movie, with good Special Features. The Special Features are all located on disc 2, so to get any of them, I believe that you will have to buy the 2-disc Special Edition (unless they have made a different "set-up" of features for the single-disc edition)
