Brush is ok, shame about the image!, 2 Mar 2013
Ordered this quickly as I thought it was one of the better prices for this type and make. Own fault - didn't read the detail properly and expected three brushes per the picture but only got one! No wonder the price was good. As I say it's my own fault but the image is misleading. Brush is good though - expensive way to paint!

I know I'm biased, 9 Feb 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
How many times have you read a book to your children and been bored silly? How many times have you looked at the illustrations and wondered if the artist was on something? Well, when my children were small, I discovered Mick Inkpen. Magic, simple story line and breathtaking illustration. I enjoyed them so much, I read them over and over again - to the children obviously! Now I have Grandchildren and I'm really fed up reading some of the drivel produced today. So I got this new Mick Inkpen book and off we went! My Grandaughter was transfixed, the story was simple and compelling and the illustrations brilliant. So guess what I'll be reading to her tomorrow night, when she visits.....?

They work!, 9 Feb 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
My wife used this product and without putting too fine a point on it, they seem to me to work purely as a result of their laxative effect on the digestive system. This is quite noticeable and whilst it may be peculiar to the user, if it is common, one wonders if the expense is worthwhile when readily available alternatives are so cheap!

Brilliant, 9 Feb 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
You must be a fan of this silly programme to enjoy the disc, obviously. I am a fan and therefore found this hilarious in places. Jack Dee, not my favourite comedian, is perfect as the "host" but I fear that a reluctance to be "rude" by BBC Management will eventually dumb down this otherwise splendid show. Certainly over the last few episodes there is a distinct reduction of the outrageous humour that prevailed for years. This can't be the writers or the "contestants". I can only conclude that "Aunty" is nervous!!!

Not for me!, 9 Feb 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
The blurb mentions "Le Carre". What a joke! This is miles away from a book by Le Carre and, although I've started it three times, I've never managed to get beyond the first few chapters. Don't let me put you off, but from my point of view this is not good at all. I won't ruin the story by going into detail as there are plenty of people who will enjoy this, I'm sure. Whatever you do, ignore the "blurb" and buy the book on its merit.

Excellent, 9 Feb 2013
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
The Martin Beck series of books is really unusual and well worth reading. This dramatised version is a great representation and even if you haven't read the books, worth listening to. It perhaps misses a little of the atmosphere created by the book but is an excellent introduction to this series.

Very good - almost 4 stars!, 3 Dec 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
This is an unusual book - and to say too much would be to spoil the tension created by the Author. It's certainly well written and different. Don't let the "blurb" about "Courtroom Drama" put you off. Perry Mason this is not! It really is gripping and the plot (if that is the word) quite convoluted. It will keep you going to the end and I found the whole story quite believable. I shall try some more!

Very good, 3 Dec 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I like Crime stories and if they're set somewhere abroad, all the better. This is set in a City that I don't know and that adds to the mystery. The story line is good and well written. It is convincing most of the time but unfortunately the main protagonist is a little typecast (marital problems, trouble with the bosses etc) and that, to some degree, detracts from the strength of the book. I've read the unedited version so some of this may be cut out. Having said that, well worth a read and I shall try some more by this author. 3 stars may seem poor, but I class that above average. (I rarely give 5 stars!)

Wonderful!, 3 Dec 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I love good radio comedy. There's still something magical about listening to a good radio show and not being distracted by an image. This is wonderfully written. The characters are strong, the situations ridiculous but somehow realistic, the dry humour and wordplay hilarious. Good cast caught in some splendidly daft situations. For those of you who can remember the 1960's holiday flights to the Costas, on strangely named airlines with doubtful aircraft, this is bound to bring back memories!

Seemed Ok, 3 Dec 2012
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
I've used AVG free version for some time and have been impressed. So much so that I've now tried the 2013 licensed version. Simple to load and easy to use. It's quick to pick up any threats, is not intrusive and doesn't slow down my system (Vista). The real test is going to be when some horrible virus arrives but, so far I'm confident that I'm probably about as protected as I can be. I'll update this in about six months - lets see! Early Update After about a month of use my machine started developing problems! Boot time over 5 minutes, wireless connection dropping etc. By a process of elimination I started removing recently added programmes as I could find no virus. AVG was third on the list. Do you think it would remove? No chance! In the end, after hours of trying through the standard Widows methods, I found that AVG have a removal tool which I used and this did the trick. However it left hundreds of errors and junk files so that had to be cleaned up. Once all gone, System now works normally again. I can't be sure that the problem was AVG but I am so uneasy about a programme that is not removeable in the normal way, I am avoiding this product for the future.
