Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The amount of hiss when you play a single note makes this unit unusable, I am guessing it is as result of the digital signal processing artifacts

5.0 out of 5 stars Read this book, if you care about your food, 11 July 2006
Wow what a book. I couldn't put it down. It has shocked me to my very core. I read Fast food nation and thought it was great, but to me this had more impact. There is a slight anti-supermarket bias, if I am to play the devil's advocate, but there is no hiding the well researched and documented facts that this books gives you.

Read this if you care about your body and what your food.

5.0 out of 5 stars The right book at the right time, 1 May 2006
I tried reading this book many years before and never completed it. I have picked it up again recently and it truly is one of the best books I have ever read. I can see how previous review state that people may not like the book, but for me and I guess those who love it, it is a brilliant philosophical work with a strong sense of story. I love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic book, 16 April 2006
I came across this book by accident, and I have to say that it is one of the best books I have ever had the pleasure to read. It focuses in on a number of big questions that I am sure we all ask ourselves and uses examples of how philosophy can be applied to answer them. The author also gives lots of real world situations to further explain the principles.

This book may change your life...or at least your way of thinking!
