4.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Portraits, 27 Nov. 2011
The photography in this series of books is excellent, with lovely use of natural light.
If you are a photography fan then I would also highly recommend another great Irish photographer Sean Monaghan as he explores the Irish landscape and food characters in his 'A Taste of Cork'. Also available from Amazon A Taste of Cork: A Gourmand's Tour of Its Food and Landscape
As I am a fan of great photography I have both these fine books on my coffee table well worth every penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love David Noton, 24 Nov. 2011
David Notons full frame is the eagerly anticipated follow up to chasing the light and it doesnt dissapoint.
Beautiful photography by an absolute master.
Another book I would recommend in a similar vein by a lesser known Irish master of digital landscape photography, is Sean Monaghan`s A Taste of Cork also available from Amazon A Taste of Cork: A Gourmand's Tour of Its Food and Landscape
This book is for anyone who is a fan of David Noton as the photographic styles are similar, but of a region that David hasn`t covered very much, the Emerald isle.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice Book, 24 Nov. 2011
This is a nice book really enjoyed it.
Another book I would recommend in a similar vein, but a food tour of Ireland and stronger visually is Sean Monaghan`s A Taste of Cork also available from Amazon A Taste of Cork: A Gourmand's Tour of Its Food and Landscape
Hopefully Sean will do a French version of this book.

Farmhouse Cheeses of Ireland: A Celebration
by Glynn Anderson
Edition: Hardcover
Price: £22.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book, 24 Nov. 2011
This is a nice book and very complete at the time of writing, who would have thought that Ireland is fast becoming a cheese nation to rival the French??. Another book I would recommend in a similar vein but a much more visual exploration of the Cheesemakers is A Taste of Cork also available from Amazon A Taste of Cork: A Gourmand's Tour of Its Food and Landscape

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book, 24 Nov. 2011
This is a nice book and touches on the wealth of good food in Ireland.
Another book I would highly recommend is 'A Taste of Cork' by photographer Sean Monaghan, as although covering only Cork food and landscape the photography is stunning and second to none. It would be great actually if Colman teamed up with Sean and produced the ultimate Food/travel book.A Taste of Cork: A Gourmand's Tour of Its Food and Landscape
