I loved this book - 'Gabo' is a master storyteller whether it be fiction of fact or a melding of each. The book itself was delivered promptly and in really good condition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seminal Works by a seminal writer, 4 Mar. 2007
Joan Didion is the unsung hero(ine) of the New Journalism and this collection of classic works serves to underline just how important Didion was, and still is, in American non fiction writing. Live and Learn is a consolidation of three collections of writing from various periods of her writing career. From the Haight Ashbury infused Slouching towards Bethlehem to the Reagan/Bush era musings of After Henry, her brisk, sparse prose is a joy to behold. There is more to New Journalism than Tom Wolfe's high jinks with the merry pranksters.....
