Don't really understand the hype around this series. The concept is interesting but it's so badly written!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliantly helpful book!, 1 Nov. 2011
This review is from: The Food Hospital (Paperback)
This is a brilliant and beautiful book. There's loads of information for everyone - can't wait to make the hair loss salad for my husband! Also masses of help on what to eat and not eat for all types of conditions. I hate the idea of popping pills and this feels like you can really make a difference through what you eat. Yummy recipes too. Can't wait for the series to kick in!

5.0 out of 5 stars fascinating and funny, 5 Oct. 2011
This review is from: Planet Word (Hardcover)
I've been watching the series on the BBC and have been thoroughly enjoying it - Stephen relays so much information and meets so many fascinating people. The book takes the discussions even further - and there are lots of other areas covered too. It's a very funny read in parts! The book also includes lovely colour images so it makes a beautiful package. Can't wait for series 2!

5.0 out of 5 stars heartwarming and hilarious, 5 Oct. 2011
This review is from: The Life of Lee (Hardcover)
This is such a heartwarming story of Lee's rise to fame - his relationship with his wife and the early years are described with a huge amount of warmth. And genuinely laugh-out-loud, fall-of-your-chair funny in places too! Five stars.
