Use to like the Fifa games back in the day.

But then became hooked on PES. Albeit it was never perfect.

Have been a PES convert since and until played this. Love it. Feels much more intuitive that PES.

Highly recommend you give it a go, especially at these prices.

2.0 out of 5 stars Godzilla fan but can't recommend this, 14 Jun 2014

Like the other reviewer I was extremely disappointed by this product.

The figure looks far better than it is, which is probably why the photo is so small.

Doesn't cost a great deal but not worth even that. Avoid.

4.0 out of 5 stars Green Goliath, 23 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
At last its arrived and its a tremendous figure. So why then a 4 star review?

Well, their are a number of issues I have with it.

1. The figure comes in 3 pieces which you have to fit together. Why? The box is large enough to hold it as a single piece figure
2. The figure is easily assembled and looks great but the figure in the picture is clearly a single piece figure as there are no joins visible. So again why make it as a 3 piece when 1 was possible and preferable.
3. The stand, which isn't pictured, also comes in 2 parts, as 2 separate small stands. Again I am unclear as to why they have chosen to do this when a single stand would have been better and could easily have fitted in the box in place of the 2 ones provided.

Those are my complaints. They could be seen as significant issues and so you may ask why then haven't I knocked off more stars.

Because despite everything it is still a superb figure and given the price to give it anything less than 4 would be churlish.

So buy it. Now...what are you waiting for?

Nice looking product and quality appears to be good. Slightly smaller than I was expecting but my fault for not checking my measurements. Recommended

4.0 out of 5 stars Bargain Box Set, 24 Jun 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Not watched all the films in this set as of yet and sure there are likely to be a couple of duffers. However I have watched Ghoulies GTC, Class of 1999, Slaughter High and Chopping Mall, all of which are great old school horror fun. Yes they are B movies and are in places unintentionally hysterical but they have some famous faces in there ie Malcolm Mc Dowell, Stacey Keach, Pam Grier etc and the effects, particularly in Chopping Mall and Class of 1999 are impressive given the low budgets.

Worth every penny.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy, 24 Jun 2013

I have been after 13 Ghosts on blu ray for some time but its hard to come buy at a reasonable price.

This 2 disc collection packaged with House of Wax, another entertaining old school horror, is an absolute bargin.

Don't be put off by the Region 1 coding, this set plays fine on my regions 2 player.

2.0 out of 5 stars A grave disappointment, 7 Sep 2012
This review is from: Creature [DVD] (DVD)
Purchased this one based on the 5 star review. Had been eyeing it up before it was even released, interested by the "Feast" like cover, the look of the creature and the presence of Sid Haig.

However its a film which fails on all levels. The plot is poor, the acting average, the creature disappoints and its just not scary.

Sid haig plays the same role he played in the House of 1000 Corpse, namely there just to point the usual group of teens in the direction of the creature.

At least in House he had something more to do as Spalding.

The end is ridiculas, to the extent (spoiler?) that the final battle in which the creature is defeated does not even occur on screen.

The little twist at the end is the only highlight but to be truthful if I had been a little bit interested by then I would have probably seen it coming.

A grave disappointment. If you still want to see it, wait until it comes down in price to about £3, or get it second hand or rent/borrow it.

Or better still buy Feast. A much better film.

3.0 out of 5 stars Do not fit all 7 inch tablets, 13 Aug 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Purchased these to use with my NATPC M010S 7inch tablet, based solely on the reviews.

However despite the reviews stating they should fit any standard 7 inch tablet, they do not.

The covers are 7 inches in length but the tablet screen is measured diagonally like with a tv screen. Consequently the cover is too long and too wide.

That being said it can be cut down. Not tried that yet so cannot comment it what they are like fitted.

Cannot say if will fit a Kindle as I don't own one but if the Kindle screen is 7 inches diagonally like my tablet, then doubt they will.

It would help if the seller provided dimensions rather than just saying will fit a 7 inch screen.

2.0 out of 5 stars Bore of the Dead, 9 Aug 2012
This review is from: War of The Dead [DVD] (DVD)
I love zombie films.

Nazi'z are currently all the rage, and I admit I have been caught up in it having recently purchased a few such movies like: Iron Sky (Great fun and effects but terrible acting) 25th Reich (Better acting and a real B Movie/dated feel and a completely bonkers story, but enjoyable nonsense none the less) and most recently and yet to be watched, Nazi's at the Centre of the Earth aka Bloodstorm.

Zombie Wars enticed me with the cover and the zombie/nazi combo. Sadly its terrible and the worst film I have seen of this genre to date. The script is bad, the direction worse and its just one set piece after the other none of which are particularly interesting.

The zombies, you don't really get a good look at them at any point as its all very fast moving action, with quick cutting. That combined with the fact it all takes place at night or in the dark through, means you can't really tell if they are zombies or not most of the time.

If you want a nazi/zombie combo stick with Dead Snow.

4.0 out of 5 stars How do they sell these for the price??, 11 July 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Had already bought one of these and was very impressed given the low cost and quality. Ordered 2 more. When they came I noted that they not the same as the first one as they did not have gold plated plugs but they still work great and excellent value for money. How do they produce and sell them for this money and make a profit??

Only point to watch is the cable is very thin. It has to be to work. This mean to much pulling is likely to damage the connection where the wire meets the plug. I have reinforced mine with a bit of tape. It does not look particularly attractive but should make them last a bit longer.
