4.0 out of 5 stars OMG, 24 Jun 2014
Oh my days. This violence contains some book. North London gets turned into North Iraq. Not for the sensitive of disposition, "Battle Come Down" is like a Sven Hassel epic for the social media generation.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gripping!, 22 July 2013
Flower's de-but novel had me gripped from the start. Clearly well researched and action packed story telling. Genuinely cannot wait for book two...let's hope this series runs and runs!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping action throughout..., 12 Nov 2012
The Fox Princess starts in the middle of the action, less than a week after the events of "Riz". More epic in tone than the first intro book, Fox Princess is very ambitious. Veering into future technologies, cyber warfare and some very strange concepts about artificial lifeforms. There are welcome returns of characters from the first book, and more background on what drives them.
And then we're into the second half. Oh boy. The book's last half is given over to a breathless chase sequence through Europe, ending in a city-wide battle that makes Mark Bowden's "Blackhawk Down" look like Downton Abbey. One warning though: the last chapters are graphic and violent, and not for readers of a sensitive nature. All in all though, well worth a download for 77p!
