5.0 out of 5 stars Classic Album!, 18 Sep 2013
This review is from: Love At First Sting (Audio CD)
A classic Scorpions album at a very competitive price and in very good condition, if you, like me, prefer to have your music in a tangible physical form shopping through Amazon is an ideal way to track down rare or discontinued albums. Very pleased with my purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars Quiet and Cool but. . . ., 24 May 2013

This Transcend SSD is really the only serious contender, with the possible exception of Kingston, If you're lumbered with an ageing laptop with an old PATA interface that you want to squeeze the last few drops of functionality out of, just don't expect it to turn your 10 year old Pentium M780 laptop into a blistering speed machine! but, and it's a big but, it may just allow you to run some modernish programmes on an old windows XP machine I also maxed out the RAM on my old Acer (2Gb limit on pentium M7xx chipsets) and upgraded from a 1.76Ghz M740 to a 2.26Ghz M780 CPU. to be honest it was hardly worth the effort as performance is barely perceptibly improved, the extra RAM probably made the most difference (512 to 2GB)

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice looking skin but dubious protective qualities, 24 Mar 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a genuine Samsung product and as such you might expect it to provide a greater level of protection than it affords. It is of fairly high quality though and does look quite good, in a conservative kind of way, but is ultimately of fundamentally flawed design, in that it is open at the top and bottom edges of the phone. If you are happy with a modestly improved level of protection and fancy a mild facelift for your S2 then you should be happy with this product, If you require heavier duty protection something like a casemate tough or barely there.

5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute steal, a doddle to install., 1 Mar 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Nice solid bracket, with the bonus of coming complete with fasteners for every conceivable model of TV and installation option, easy to follow instructions anyone with more than a passing familiarity with a power drill, screwdriver and spanner or socket wrench should have no problems fitting this. Just a small note of caution, common sense really, but if you're installing a 50" + Heavy weight plasma as I was, make sure you have a good solid cinder block or brick wall to mount on, If you have stud partitions or crumbling brickwork, save yourself the potential grief and leave it on a stand/unit.

Excellent product at a phenomenal price and very swift delivery, does exactly what it says on the tin, fibre optic cables either work or they don't, this is of well constructed design made from high quality materials. I plan on purchasing more in the future.

Panasonic TX-P50X50B 50-inch Widescreen HD Ready Plasma TV with Freeview HD - Black
I purchased this Plasma TV after a great deal of research, which in the final analysis came down to a choice between this model and the LG 50PA650T.
Having had the opportunity to view both these TV's at my local AV emporium, In my opinion the Panasonic edges the LG on build AND picture quality, those who have done their research will know that Panasonic's reputation for building quality Plasma displays is second only to Pioneer's, who sadly no longer manufacture them, and this Tv is no exception, yes I know it's 'only' 720P or 1080i with a native resolution of 1024 X 768 but as other reviewers have testified It's how the picture looks to the individual watching it that's important and to my eyes the Panasonic has better contrast ratios and a sharper picture. A lot will depend on the TV's intended use, If mainly used for viewing Freeview or broadcast HD (currently either 720P or 1080i)via the onboard Freeview HD, DVD or Gaming I suspect the Panasonic would be the superior choice, If bluray is your bag then, possibly, the LG might edge it with it's higher (1920 X 1080) resolution and 1080P output capability, but let your decision be informed by viewing these Plasma screens at a local outlet before commiting to buy and bear in mind that in brightly lit 'superstores' Plasmas will look a little pale and washed out alongside their LED counterparts but once installed in your living room Plasma is superior in every way to LED/LCD partcularly with fast moving sport or blockbuster movies and I doubt many people would be disappointed with either of these TV's, yes they lack network/internet browser capability but I imagine most people will be connecting these up to PVR's or DLNA equipped bluray players so this should not really be a problem.
