Excellent read., 14 July 2014
What started out as a reminder of my favourite Stephen King novels (needful things and the Tommyknockers), this book soon takes a familiar turn, interweaving a tale of a sinister town, a hunt for a lost father and daughter and action involving our favourite sidekicks coming to the aid of Charlie Parker. What pleased the most was the hint towards the Charlie's true calling. The book takes you back to the curiosity and wonder of the origins of the soul of our hero. Is he a fallen Angel who has been in th presence of the divine? Is this familiarity what draw his enemies to him? Hopefully the next instalment will tell us more. Loved this book.
