【Free】Harlequin Comics Best Selection Vol. 1
【Free】Harlequin Comics Best Selection Vol. 1
Price: £0.00

5.0 out of 5 stars A great taster, 24 May 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
These are free and give you a taste of comics that you can buy.

This one holds 6 stories.

The costs of the full comic are approximately £3.50 - £5.00.

It is worth reading these as they give you 30-40% of the beginning of the story. You can easily get a feel for the stories this way.

I think it was generous of the company to do this as you can buy the ones you want to read. If you can't afford to buy the whole story, these give you enough that you can make up your own ending.

Certainly worth a look.

Keeping Luke's Secret (Harlequin Comics)
Keeping Luke's Secret (Harlequin Comics)

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful story and drawings, 24 May 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a wonderful way to read a romance. A lot more different than reading through a normal book.

The drawings are very graphical and have fantastic details.

You have the ability to zoom with these comics.

It is a lighter way to get involved with the story. The drawings are expressive and reading is quickly achieved without neglecting the story.

I look forward to reading many more like this.

SPOILER about the story

The story has Leonora who is a teacher but wrote her grandfather's story. She is approached by Rachel an actress who wants Leonora to write her story.

Her son Luke is less enthusiastic about it and is abrupt in his attitude towards Leonora.

Sparks fly and secrets are unearthed but all works out for the best in the end.

Sweet Fire and Stone (A Sweet Cove Cozy Mystery Book 7)
Sweet Fire and Stone (A Sweet Cove Cozy Mystery Book 7)
Price: £2.05

5.0 out of 5 stars Last in the series ...., 18 May 2016
...so far.

I hope this is not the last book for the Roseland sisters. Their stories and developing relationships mixed with some mystery makes for some excellent reads.

This one sees Halloween on the horizon and this time the sisters are in the centre of the mystery.

Their well-being is under threat. First several fires around the cove mixed with several odd new comers to add to the mysteries, give the sisters a real challenge.

We catch up with all the boyfriends and the cats and Mr Finch.

It had a lot more mystery in this one, reflecting the past as the girls find out more about themselves and their Nan.

I hope the author will revisit the cove soon. I just love the characters and can't wait for their story to continue.

Home Sweet Home (A Sweet Cove Mystery Book 6)
Home Sweet Home (A Sweet Cove Mystery Book 6)
Price: £1.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful story, 9 May 2016
The sisters are getting on with life still. This book starts with a house warming for Mr Victor Finch. Everyone is together then, but the boyfriends do not make much of an appearance during the story which is a shame.

Ellie is still not sure about her additional skills. The same uncertainty seems to hit Angie a great deal in this story too.

A boat beeching and strange going ons at the chief's aunt's house get the girls involved in a missing person case and then later on a murder.

There is more in and out going on then usual for the sisters' story, but it flows well and it is fantastic to catch up with them all as their lives progress. The cats are as great as they have been in past stories.

The ending was a welcomed surprise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wedding caper, 29 April 2016
A senator is holding his daughter's wedding and the sisters are dealing with the event until a murder happens.

Things are free flowing in this story. All the sisters are involved. We get to see more of the family and their friends during this murder investigation.

The cats are not left out on this adventure.

Fantastic story telling, wonderful characters and story.

4.0 out of 5 stars A mystery, an old murder and a birthday, 24 April 2016
This book like the others continues the story of the sisters and the friends.

All is going well, the B and B is thriving, the jewellery is selling well and Courtney is enjoying her joint venture with Mr Finch making their sweet treats.

Mr Finch has decided to get a home of his own. He looks at the property that is in the next street backing onto the girls' backyard. He asks Angie and her sister to come and look around. In the house Angie feels danger pulling them all away. When the police investigate they find a bomb that would have brought the house down on top of them.

The mystery of who would do such a terrible thing starts bringing several new suspects into the story.

Courtney has a birthday, Josh helps the girls and Tom and Chief Martin all join in too.

The story is very good but not as intricate as the previous ones.

Still a lot of joy to read.

Sweet Secrets (A Sweet Cove Mystery Book 3)
Sweet Secrets (A Sweet Cove Mystery Book 3)
Price: £1.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun mystery story, 17 April 2016
This book keeps exploring the question about the land their Nana lived on. They find some shocking truths about the past and learn more about their family history.

The sisters are all progressing well with their chosen professions. Mr Finch, Tom, Josh and Attorney Ford all make appearances. Of course the cats are both there to.

This book is all about secrets. The sisters find out many during the story. The book has fantastic characters and a quick moving story that was hard to put down.

Murder So Sweet (A Sweet Cove Mystery Book 2)
Murder So Sweet (A Sweet Cove Mystery Book 2)
Price: £0.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Another brilliant story, 16 April 2016
Second of the series.

This book has all the sisters together now Courtney has finished her studies.

Courtney is working for Finch Confections. Finch is a most unpleasant man. Mean is his only emotion. Unsettled Courtney asks Angie to walk her to work. Reaching work they find Mr Finch has been murdered and another adventure begins.

We have a new cat show up. New characters at the B and B and some relationships developing and getting more serious.

Fantastic story, brilliant characters and a cracking read.

The Sweet Dreams Bake Shop (A Sweet Cove Mystery Book 1)
The Sweet Dreams Bake Shop (A Sweet Cove Mystery Book 1)
Price: £0.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun soft murder mystery, 11 April 2016
Sisters, mystery and a murder.

This book is centred around the hub of their community, a cake shop which is a cafe and coffee shop too. One morning it is business as usual until one of the regulars die. Just before dying she asks Angie to look after her cat. A surprise in the will and Angie's sisters joining her adds much colour as they are told that it was a murder.

The hunt is on. Euclid the cat certainly adds to the story.

The characters and story are well written. It is a great start to what I hope will be a wonderful collection.

Death by Pink Flamingo: A Pink Flamingo Hotel Mystery Book 1 (Hatter's Cove Mystery Series)
Death by Pink Flamingo: A Pink Flamingo Hotel Mystery Book 1 (Hatter's Cove Mystery Series)
Price: £1.99

5.0 out of 5 stars A light fun murder mystery, 9 April 2016
Although quite different from the previous stories written by this author, this book still has fantastic characters and a wonderful murder mystery.

I enjoyed the hunts for Felix. I loved Victoria and Anna. They really are the best of friends. There is a great deal going on in the book with several murders and thefts. Rumours going around like wildfire.

You will find some of the characters from the Hatter Cove Gazette stories popping up too.

I found the story slowed a tiny bit but really picked up at the end blowing my mind with who th murderer was. I had no clue and was a little stunned.

Along with Grace Holliday, Hatter's Cove and now The Pink Flamingo Hotel this author has become a favourite of mine.
