5.0 out of 5 stars A refreshing and facinating read, 9 Jan 2013
This take on a traditional story is brilliant and revealing - Williams brings a fresh perspective by challenging the norm. In this version we understand more about Edgar Evans and his qualities as an unsung hero, leaving us looking at his role in the expedition in a completely different way. Williams suggests there were many other factors that played a part in the deaths of his team mates and highlights the failure of other reporters (of that time and now) to explore the full version of the truth. Incredibly interesting and well worth the read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly interesting, 23 Nov 2011
An incredibly interesting version of Scott's Antartic exploration - a refreshing and fresh take on a known adventurer with the added twist of looking to Edward Wilson for further insight. A must read. Thoroughly covered detail and very well written.

4.0 out of 5 stars A collection of funny episodes, 18 Nov 2011
This review is from: As High As A Kite (Kindle Edition)
Trench clearly knows how to seek out an adventure...something that all drug/non-drug takers amongst us can relate to! Sure to make you laugh out loud at least a few times! There's no reason not to download this. A collection you could read over again. I will be interested to see how the collection evolves when narcotics are taken out of the equation so I'm watching this space please Trench...
