MASH. GOODBYE, FAREWELL AND AMEN
MASH. GOODBYE, FAREWELL AND AMEN

5.0 out of 5 stars MASH Goodbye Farewell and Amen, 22 Feb. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Despite buying the VHS vesrion, this final MASH episode began with the main character being away from the 4077th and feeling helpless.
Other characters would suffer setbacks of various depths including Charles Winchester losing his love for classical music and Father Mulcahy suffering deafness with would conclude with a simple GOODBYE message written in stones on the remains of the camp.
The quality was reasonable although the DVD would have had a sharper picture and sound.

5.0 out of 5 stars One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest DVD, 22 Feb. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I chose this rating as the DVD was of high quality and watchable form start to finish.
The director commentary allowed the viewer to find out how this film came about and the subject matter shown.
Jack Nicholson played the part of someone wanting ot brighten the lives of those held in the institution with no hope or stimulation and made to suffer.
The extra disc made for added value in how an Academy Award winnig film got its deserved recognition.

I chose 5 stars because the film was the last made whilst Spike Milligan was still alive and had the same Miliganesque goonery in places.
Such a shame he didn't appear in the film due to his failing health but a legacy to his work in comedy.
The DVD included the director commentary and material that made the product worth owning as I've borrowed a copy from the library.

5.0 out of 5 stars Allo Allo Review Series 5 Vol. 2, 13 Sept. 2009
Watched it from start to finish.
Still as funny as the earlier series.
Perhaps cast commentaries and interviews would futher enhance one's enjoyment plus a where are they now feature for surviving cast members.
