4.0 out of 5 stars Very good, 14 Mar 2013

I had the oppersite effect to what some people have said: i got too much out at one time. Having read the reviews of it taking ages to pump, I did press three or four times and got alot coming out. Very nice colour to compliment the foundation and good application brush.

Confessions of a Part-time Call-girl
Confessions of a Part-time Call-girl
by Larry Miller
Edition: Paperback

2.0 out of 5 stars Boring .., 14 Mar 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I took a risk on this book .

I really couldnt get into to. She was a really annoying and self centred person to read . Intresting glimpse into her world. The seemly constant "Im not a prostitute(despite taking money/gifts for sex)" got a bit annoying. Didnt finish it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lovely Lipstick....But!, 14 Mar 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The seller dispatched the lipstick reall quickly so that was a bonus.

Pros-
-Have not found a lipstick like this in its moisturising feel. Really lovely and non drying. I have another liptstick ("baby love" i think its called) by this range and its a more natural colour but with the same nice feeling.
-Didnt smell as some lipsticks do.

Cons-
-I didnt feel it stayed on very well
-colour too bright for me (red head/pale skin).

2.0 out of 5 stars patronising, 3 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As others have said its patronising. Loads of comments on how to save the enviorment, which is fine, but it almost seems to be the bigger focus rather than saving money. On bit of advice that annoyed me was advice about cycling your kids to school which is fine, but then the author goes on to say "if the schools to far, maybe move the children closer". Sometimes the better schools are not in your area.I dont know many people who would move their kids because they couldnt cycle them to school. I do think some of the book was designed to soothe the middle classes. Such comments on how private schools are no better than normal schools.Despite the author admitting better grades, but flippiantly saying it dosnt mean their superior-just those parents who send their kids to private schools value education more(but sort of missing the point that those parents can afford to send their kids there). Just totally annoying! Some parts are ok, but not the selfhelp money guide its made out to be.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible, 2 Mar 2012
Never have a read a more painful book. The author is totally self obsessed. How is she working. In one part she 'writes' to god and says ' I'm not on about tsunamis or aids. No this is a bigger issue. I'm a sex fiend' for heaven's sake. How self centred. I found it repetitive and boring. She assumes everyone wants to sleep with her .One guy asks how many people she's slept with, and I honestly couldn't see anything wrong in his response, nothing offensive. Yet she goes off on one about how men always judge e.c.t. I couldn't stand her. I thought it would be funny and interesting but she has no depth. I've read books like this and found them interesting but this. Regret buying it. Charity shop it goes

What Goes Around Comes Around

5.0 out of 5 stars What Goes Around Comes Around, 25 Jun 2011
I recently finished reading "What Goes Around Comes Around" By Doug Goddard. This is the first book I have read by the author and found it an interesting read. The characters are written very descriptively and were quite realistic. The places were beautifully described such as Reg's house set in a lovely Spanish landscape.

Before you meet Smith you find yourself disliking him. The author has done a good job brining the reader to the actual meeting by tastefully going into detail about the horrid doings that lead these men to their actions.
I found the plot easy to follow. The author has produced writing that has a nice flow to it .

I read the book in two days. As their plans began to formulate i found myself not wanting to put the book down.
The end was satisfying and I felt any loose ends were tied up.

Overall I would recommend this book. Although not a particularly long book it has a good plot and decent characters.
I look forward to more books from the author.
