Reading this book as an adult, I found it difficult to put it down. It is fast moving, exciting and full of reference to the Bangor area and the wealth of legend and mythology that exists in Welsh literature. Children (and grown ups) in North Wales, the whole of Wales, and wider, will have their appetite whetted and will hopefully want to delve deeper into this rich culture. The author writes well, using a wealth of vocabulary, and the background is well-researched. He is clearly passionate about Wales and its legends. I eagerly await his second book.
