5.0 out of 5 stars Somewhat disappointed., 21 April 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I must say that I got my first colostrum from the company called LR (no distribution in the UK yet) and I have been taking it for three months everyday, then followed by 2 every sunday for a further month and then just 2 a month and I have not been ill for 2 years. I thought it would be good to get a boost before 2 weeks on a tall ship on the Baltic and the North sea in March so I was taking these for a month everyday. Unfortunately they were not good at all. I fell ill shortly after I got back from the trip. Luckily my mother has sent me the LR colostrum and I'm back on the initial regime from over two years ago.

There is so many different colostrum tablets available, that you have to be cautious. Get a good brand, ask friends go with stuff you know have worked before.
That said, colostrum does not work for everyone. If you did follow the proper regime and still fell ill, then it maybe that you are among the unfortunate group of people for whom this has no benefit (or you thought that after taking colostrum you became invincible to sickness ;) )

3.0 out of 5 stars Not impressed, 21 April 2012
I must say that these are NOT very impressive. If you fancy yourself a good pair save up and buy something decent. Trebles are fine, however without equaliser the bass is somewhere out there, but you have no chance to hear let alone feel it. Once you set an equaliser properly the music becomes merely OK. That said I bought this pair as the in ear ones keep falling out of my ears (and larger inserts are uncomfortable for me) and the 218i has a mic, which along with the remote is probably the main selling point. (There is nothing worse than listening to music and having to dig one's phone out to pick up a call).

A note to Android users looking to buy these: volume controls do not work, but main button is ok to pick up/hang up the call and to start/stop your preferred player.

CoolerMaster Notepal S Black Laptop Cooler
CoolerMaster Notepal S Black Laptop Cooler

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant little stand, 8 Jan 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Is it a cooling device?
No!
This is a proper stand for your laptop it's main bit is made of aluminium with couple plastic bits. It does help your laptop to cool itself better for the simple reason that it keeps it in the air alowing for more air circulation underneath. Don't expect miracles if you want it to cool your device. That said it is a perfect stand and I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars Like it, but could cover some more issues, 5 Dec 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book, gives you some insight into proper Ajax programming techinques, however it is missing some 150 pages of different examples and explanations. It is targeted at an intermediate reader and only if you have no access to the internet. What I mean is that you can get better knowledge elswhere and it will not cost you a penny.
Authors message to the reader is: Unless you write a full blown application Ajax should enhance your site and not be a main technology used throughout.
Overall verdict: It's easy to read, but buy something else if you really want to learn Ajax.

1.0 out of 5 stars very poor, 25 Jun 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
very poor book, not a thing i was looking for, maybe if you know how to use it than yes. I could not grasp the idea. Waste of money really. Could give my away for just p&p if anyone wants it. Could not find a single place using this book, if you have sat nav, download french camping pois and go with that. cheaper and much better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Almost as perfect as everyone else says, but..., 19 Jun 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Why four stars not five?
I took one for the fact that I have a feeling that some of the previous reviews gave it one just for the fact that the product is British. Yes it's great, but it does not matter really where it was produced. Anyway.

I would take another star off, as it ALMOST does what it says it does on carpets, but it's being rescued by the way it works on hardfloors :

On tiles or wooden floor it works it's magic and deserves 5 stars, no argument.

Problems start you want to clean the carpet. Unless you go around with a dyson once a week and then everyday with the sweeper you will encounter the unpleasant reality of the product being unable to keep the dust in a dustholder and throwing it away quite often (too often to be honest).

The way to remedy this is to add some water to the compartment, but it's not really watertight so the amount needs to be small, diminishing the positive effect or you'll need to do a small diy with a colourless kitchen sealant to make it take more water.

That said I would still recommend this product to everyone.
It is feather-light (1.6 kg), cordless, and works better than some of the vacuum cleaners you may find around.
