Impossible not to give this five stars, excellent writing, chilling story with a new horrific villain to join the ranks of Freddie Kruger and Pennywise . My only reservation is it read like one of Joe Hill' s dad's books. I missed the edgy unique voice and dark vision of Joe Hill himself, so evident in Heart Shaped Box that was infinitely more terrifying than this epic tome.

Good looking app...that doesn't work. Wouldn't allow me to change the settings and froze up my Kindle. Had it for about five frustrating minutes before deleting

I love being able to buy the episodes seperately as I cannot get Game of Thrones on my television. I missed out the Mountain and the Viper as I knew what was going to happen!

Does the job! Wakes me up with a variety of tunes and noises to choose from. I always pick annoying ones to help wake up the teenager of the house..

Of of Britain;s best kept secrets but really shouldn't be if there was any justice in the publishing industry...Jilly Paddock's writing is beautiful....SF fiction at its best...Taut, lyrical at times, gripping and never predictable or cliched .

A Child from the Wishing Well
A Child from the Wishing Well

5.0 out of 5 stars Atmospheric Thriller, 8 Jun. 2014
This is different! In an intriguing , tension building and what ever is going to happen next way... I wasn't sure I was going to get into it at first but then by the end of the first chapter the author's skill at story telling had me hooked.
There are many ways to catch fish, dynamite the water or patiently lure one in with an attractive bait. This is definitely not a bludgeon by dynamite book but a clever, subtle and beautifully written psychological thriller. Even the title is atmospheric! Looking forward to discovering more of this writer's work

3.0 out of 5 stars Early work?, 5 Jun. 2014
This review is from: The Vision (Kindle Edition)
Is this an early work of Dean Koontz , dredged up by his publishers to earn money? It reads like one. It shows none of the mastery of suspense and horror of his later work. He is better with a male main character, Mary is annoyingly feeble and the identity of the baddie obvious early not a golden retriever in sight
