Laser 2830 Filter Wrench - Metal Band
Laser 2830 Filter Wrench - Metal Band
Price: 5.26

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, 23 July 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to remove the filter from my Astra where there is very little room. It was easy to adjust to the required size and the metal dimples on the band provide an excellent grip. Did the job at the first attempt. Much much easier than fiddling about
with my other chain wrench which kept slipping off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Value, 26 Feb 2014
I purchased this phone from o2 in 2009 for 20. It has plenty of features and more importantly for a technophobe like me it is easy to operate. Only after 5 years is it starting to become faulty. I have bought a touch screen phone to replace it which I have found impossible to use. Consequently I now appreciate how good this Nokia is. My new phone is being returned and I shall source another one of these but not for the silly prices listed on this site.

I will add comments but also read D.Smith's review which touches on other things I would have said. The book in general is repetitive, with little in any chronological order making it a bit awkward to follow and there is a lot of rambling, a bit like one of Virgo's commentary's. There are actually very few 'incidents' involving Higgins, I have read more in other books but Virgo does an excellent job (hence 2 stars and not 1) in making it clear what an unpleasant character Higgins was. The theft of the 1 from the wheelchair bound fan and threatening to have a child shot for fidgeting in the front row were fairly typical of the man. But according to Virgo this was all okay because it 'was Alex'. At the end of the book Virgo claims that nothing Higgins did mattered, well try telling that to the many people he physically and mentally hurt. Virgo also illustrates very well how Higgins used everybody around him and had no real friends, so in fairness Virgo does an excellent job of telling the reader what Higgins was really like.
Overall a really poor effort, littered with mistakes as D.Smith has pointed out and is purely an attempt by Virgo to make a fast buck.

1.0 out of 5 stars Depressing, 24 Dec 2012
This review is from: The Common Stone (Audio CD)
In short, a thoroughly depressing bunch of political songs. Another addition to the negativety that surrounds us all 24/7. People recording this tripe WILL NOT change the world. With little instrumentation it is like listening to an un-wanted visitor rambling on about the worlds' woes. Also contains the most depressing version of 'Jerusalem', which is normally an uplifting song, I have ever heard. Leave well alone.

1.0 out of 5 stars Totally mis-leading, 14 Dec 2012
As a seller and then collector of 20 years I totally concur with what the experienced dealers are saying about this book. At least 75% of the entries should not be in there. It is difficult for dealers to get more than 5 - 10 for anything now unless it is quite rare and in excellent condition. The fabricated prices also spawn other problems. Private sellers who see this guide end up with a completely false idea of the value of their collections. Most people purchase 'chart' music which now has no commercial value and therefore cannot sell their collections because of the rediculous price they want. You also see deluded dealers at Record Fairs who think the book is a price list. One dealer in particular at midlands fairs always consults the book for the tatty singles he sells and quotes a rediculous price to un-knowledgeable members of the public who stand to be exploited by this practice. Charity shops also sit on run of the mill records with crazy prices on them which just makes them look stupid.
There is a huge amount of vinyl on the market which will increase as more people turn the dreaded digital media. Sadly 90% of vinyl is effectively worthless with prices steadily falling.
It is in the interests of the publishers to try and keep prices artificially high but they are not kidding the sensible ones. There is enough information on the internet to value your vinyl without buying this ''guide''!!

Real Lives...Real Sex Lives [VHS] [1995]
Real Lives...Real Sex Lives [VHS] [1995]
VHS

5.0 out of 5 stars Erotic, 19 Nov 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
All four couples in this film are very attractive people who clearly enjoyed a better sex life than most. Yes the film is 16 years old and is a little dated in places but still contains plenty of good ideas. The couples are amazingly relaxed in front of the camera and the film is very erotic. It is not over censored so if you are very naive like me you are left in no doubt as to what is happening. Regardless of whether you use any of the ideas you will certainly be in the mood after watching this.

1.0 out of 5 stars Destroyed a legacy., 4 Oct 2012
This review is from: Once More (Audio CD)
The re-recordings of the classics sound more like rejected demo recordings. The new versions are not slick like the originals but awkward and lumpy. Apart from 'Once More' I actually found this quite painful to listen to. Surely it was a pointless excerise to trash the originals other than to make a fast buck. This CD might generally have been very well reviewed but I can only assume there is many one eyed fans out there who probably decided it was great before listening to it - these people do exist in large numbers and I don't just mean Spandau fans. After waiting 3 years to pick this up it was a huge dissapointment. CD is going back to the charity shop.

1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage, 30 Aug 2012
This review is from: LOVE IN THE MIST (Audio CD)
I bought this CD from a charity shop because the great packaging made it look 'interesting'. Quite simply Holton cannot sing and at times sounds as if he is in pain. These are exactly the sort of vocals you hear from those deluded fools on X-Factor. There is no point on commenting on any possible instrumental merits as the vocals destroy everything. I don't normally write reviews but am quite annoyed that this made it onto an official CD release.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning!!, 6 Nov 2011
Video features some amazing filming set perfectly to the music of Sibelius. The filming has been done at different times of the day and in different weather conditions and at times is very atmospheric, especially the misty early moning scenes with the sun rising. It is also very relaxing to watch. Runs for 43 mins.

1.0 out of 5 stars Should have stopped after series one., 22 Oct 2011
Series one was fantastic being constantly funny. Series 3 was just plain weird. Series 2 (this one) is just not funny full stop. Story lines are ridiculous, some childish, the whole series struggles for amusing ideas. Just watch series one, don't bother with 2 & 3.
