2.0 out of 5 stars Michael should of never been Resurrected., 9 Jan 2008
Halloween resurrection starts good with the confrontation between Michael and laurie then goes to bad to worst...
Halloween has now turned into teen Horror with no scares or shocks and even worse bad acting a film with bad acting needs something to compensate with but even the sight of Michael cant even make like this poor Dull unrelated horror film.
the cast seems to be like dawsons creek rejects and uhh Busta ryhmes Kung Fu? what the hell? the ending is dull but opens up for another sequel
They have reduced michael from scary to laughable
Even the exception of Jamie Lee Curtis's 5 star performance has laurie Strode this still cant cover up the shambles of a movie this is
when a movie uses technology to tell you where the Killer is that's it it's over!
I have this to complete my Halloween collection but it has gavered dust ever since, halloween Resurrection should of never been done.

4.0 out of 5 stars Michael Myer's Is Back, 9 Jan 2008
Halloween H20 takes place 20 yrs after the events of the first 2 Halloween films, the producers have completley ignored the H4,5 and 6 which for me was the only thing i didnt like.
Halloween H20 starts off with michael searching for Laurie who is now an headmistress at a boarding school, on halloween the kids leave and again michael myers has come for his baby sister.
So pratically steve miner who directed Friday the 13th Part 2 has a clean slate and this is the first proper sequel to Halloween II, here's my little problem, i am uncertain why they ignored 4, 5, 6 but my guessing is that either they wanted a clean slate or they wernt prowed of those sequels excpecialley 6.
so here we are H20 sets to be the first 4 star halloween film since II, the film is very entertaining and enjoyable, i liked how they reduced the gore expecialley since halloween 6 relied on gore, this film relies on what the original did suspense and good storytelling
The final confrontation between Michael and Laurie always sends tingles down my spine.
for fans of the halloween series this is a worthy one to add to your collection and for any movie fan or horror fan this again is great to add to your collection
Infact Michael is back and is better than ever.

3.0 out of 5 stars Michael's Blade is getting Blunt, 9 Jan 2008
Has of the title you can feel that it is a very dull movie, but it has some good stuff in it like the connection between Jamie and Michael and of course this film has to be the darkest yet of all the Halloween movies, michael is again after Jamie and after the shootout at the end of H4 he is once again in a coma for 1 year until Halloween when he reawakens and goes after jamie who after the events of H4 she is in a childrens hospital where she gets images of michael
well thats enough of the plot now, the 5th halloween and things are going a little dull the usual formuler isnt working and again this series feels like it needs a reboot a reworking it needs Jamie lee curtis back!
This film again is worthy of adding to your Halloween collection.

3.0 out of 5 stars There is something wrong when Michael Return's this time..., 9 Jan 2008
This review is from: Halloween 4 [DVD] (DVD)
Michael reawakens from a 10yr coma and goes after his niece, Jamie played by Danielle Harris who stars in Rob Zombies new Halloween film "Halloween"
Dr Loomis Returns has he finds out that michael is missing and is determind to find him.
Storywise, this isnt has clever nor has suspenseful has the first 2 and of course to fit in with A nightmare on elm street and Friday the 13th series they upped the gore not much but is a definate upper, thats not a bad thing.
Halloween 4 is a decent Sequel which provides enough shocks to keep you entertined and for halloween fans a mention of Laurie Strode is a nice touch.
this film isnt a let down but it could of been better.

Halloween II [DVD]
Halloween II [DVD]

4.0 out of 5 stars Michael, It's Time..., 9 Jan 2008
This review is from: Halloween II [DVD] (DVD)
Halloween II kicks off where the first ended, after michael myers has once again escaped from Dr. loomisis grip he seeks for laurie the only surviver of that fatal evening she is taken to a Hospital to recover from her wounds and to rest, where michael is a foot and is ready to finish the night off, loomis trys to track down Michael but with no success, will this be the end of Laurie Strode?
Well the film sounds good and it is it's a real treatt to see the sequel being has good has the original, this hasnt got all the suspense and climatic feel to it has the original does but it does deliver the bumps and definatley the chill's.
The script isnt has polished or has tense has the first one but you cant have it being on the same line has the first one it just wouldnt work, With a new film score simialer to the Original but slightley tuned up more the film fits well with the first one they feel like one movie when watched together.
The gore in this film is highered and not cut away like the first one hence the boiling water sequence.
I am pleased with this film and am prowed of having this in my Halloween collection

5.0 out of 5 stars The Night he came home, that's the night he killed his family..., 9 Jan 2008
Halloween is a classic and remains one of the scariest and most inventive horror films to date, with the use of suspense and a combination of Music combined with the suspense gives this film a huge scare boast.
even today it is hard to find a horror film to give you enough scares and chills has Halloween did in 1978, john carpenter the director of "the thing" and "escape from New York" brings a extrodinary film with very litle not to like.
It all start's when Michael Myers a 6 year old Boy Stabs his Older sister to Death and gets put away into a sanitarioum for 15 years, on october 30th he escapes smiths grove and october 31st he stalks laurie and her friends which will turn out to be a night nether of them wll ever forget.
With brilliant performances from Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis this delivers a one hell of a film and this truely redefined the Horror Genre after other filmakers relied on Gore Carpenter relied on Suspense and good storytelling to tella great film.
This is a must have for any Halloween fan
