In the mid-late 2000's many Electronic greats, like Basement Jaxx, Underworld & Fatboy Slim started to decline in quality. Mylo is the complete opposite, combining top notch production with an innovative musical style spanning Disco, French House, Trip Hop and Chillout. The tracks are a far cry away from todays generic and predictable Dance Music, and would satisfy any skeptic of the genre. Moreover "In My Arms" would quite easily fit in with a commercial DJ set in any club. This album has enough depth to sound original, whilst has enough accessibility to be listened to by casual listeners and those not familiar with the wonders of Dance Music

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing., 10 Sept. 2013
A great fusion of Electro, House, Techno & Trance. All tracks are excellent, but particular highlights are "Nobody Seems To Care", "Sundance", "Synapse Dynamics" & Shadows movement. A little more of an acquired taste compared to the main Anjunabeats series, but once you get into the slower style, you'll love it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Some amazing tracks, some mediocre; rubbish mixing as always on MOS era Euphoria., 11 Aug. 2013

There are some mind blowing tracks across both CD's; Alt+F4, Find, Made Of Sun, Destination, Winter. However most of them are located towards the beginning and end's of the CD's; the middle sections are fairly boring and filled with mediocre tracks. This is mainly due to the fact that Darren Tate has chosen to include some tracks from his own Mondo record label. Most of the amazing tracks are from the Anjunabeats label, which saves this mix from being bad. Additionally the transitions between tracks are terrible; a good Trance mix should include at least 1 minute of each track overlapping; there are barely 20 second transitions. Overall, buy it for the amazing tracks, but not as a complete DJ set experience.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant production; a high octane ride through Big Beat, Breaks, DnB and Techno., 11 Aug. 2013

This album reminds me of why The Prodigy were once the kings of Dance Music. Each track is brilliantly constructed around the genres mentioned above, yet sounds totally unique and like no other track in that genre. However, I still prefer Liam's productions in their Oldskool Rave roots.

Some amazing tracks such as Chakalaka from Wippenberg and the Kyau & Albert remix of Out Of The Sky by Lange. However, there's also a lot of filler, showing that Trance is really starting to age. Also the mixes are really poorly constructed; the mixes don't take you on a musical journey. The transitions between tracks are terrible too; they sound like they are mixed by automix software on Virtual DJ. Since I picked this up for 99p, it's very good value for money, and the tracks I do like have been cheaper to acquire than buying off iTunes. Buy this for cheap singular tracks rather than the overall mix.

4.0 out of 5 stars I really can't understand the hate on this album., 9 Jun. 2013

Some great tunes. My personal best favorite ones were "Waiting For The Night", "Love Never Came", "Who's Afraid of 138?" & "Beautiful Life". However I didn't like "This Is What It Feels Like". Overall a great album and breathes new life in Trance. His best album since "Imagine" Recommended.

2.0 out of 5 stars More Filler Than Quality, 9 Jun. 2013
I've given about 8 tracks a rating of 8/10 or above.I love "Leave The World Behind", "Language", "Sun And Moon" & "Calling" However the vast majority of the tracks are boring and uninspired. There are 3 main reasons for this:

1) There are some dreadful remixes of originally good or great songs. The Tiesto remix of "Someone I Used To Know" is awful and totally takes the soul out of it. The same with the Tasadi & Nhato Remix of a Trance Classic by Tilt

2) Secondly, so many of the songs follow the same Electro Stab main melody and the same pitch-risen build up. This has led to a lot of filler from producers I used to trust. Sander Van Doorn, Axwell & Calvin Harris used to produce higher quality tracks before the American EDM "Trouse" revolution. Their work included here is drab and generic

3)Thirdly there are some stupidly annoying Dirty Dutch and Dubstep Tracks. I'm a pure House fan, and the high proportion of tracks that have these characteristics do not satisfy my personal taste

Other Thoughts

1) This should NOT be a Euphoria CD. Euphoria CD's focus on Trance NOT House.
2) Many of the tracks here are over 3 years old. For example Babylon by Congorock, Leave The World Behind by Sweedish House Mafia & Grrr by David Geutta. Why are they being included in a 2013 release?
3) Overall the CD gets 3/10 from me

The true queen of Vocal Trance Justin Suissa is here along with Above & Beyond's impecable production work. Need I say more? Hands down one of the best Vocal Trance albums ever, if not the best Trance album ever

Who else could use over the top ranting vocals over garage like beats and house melodies. The Jaxx have a truly unique style on this particular album that will go under the true dance classics. Buy this if you want funky, carnival style Garage-House
