The Trainer's Pocketbook (Management Pocketbooks)
The Trainer's Pocketbook (Management Pocketbooks)

5.0 out of 5 stars ALL TRAINERS SHOULD HAVE, 17 Aug 2009
All trainers should have this, even if they are trained trainers, which most are not. This explains how to consider the mechanics of the event, and ideas for what you need. Also how to get messages across - only down side was that there were so many "donkey bridges" acronyms and the like, you can't remember them all. Best pocket book in the series that I have. GET IT NOW.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works fine - gets a little hot, 17 Aug 2009
Gets a little hot when charging in the car - hope it doesn't cook the battery, but no real sign of that so far.

4.0 out of 5 stars Specific to meet needs of trainers for games, 17 Aug 2009
If you are a trainer, and need ways to introduce different types of activities to your training - and most do - this will be useful for introducing team games, or other, but also, if you already have games, then this will help to keep it fresh, by having other games up your sleeve. Bought as a reference book when writing training, and that's what it is good for - not to read in one go.

3.0 out of 5 stars Coaching term is too generic, 17 Aug 2009
The term coaching is totally generic for all situations, and the pocket book is written accordingly - could have spawned a specific business coaching book, but I can understand why it is kept so high. It is always important to keep a high level view of what you are trying to achieve, and, as is often the case, in business, there are other parallels to personal life situations as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Every Trainer should have this, 17 Aug 2009
ALL you need to know in an overview of how to establish WHAT training you should be conducting. I would add how to measure the return on the investment, which is critical before commencing any training programme.
In use as reference book, which is what it was designed for - recommend.

3.0 out of 5 stars Back Up external hard drive, 17 Aug 2009
This product did not work as intended to back up my personal computer, because none of the ports had enough power, even doubled up. Toshiba were not helpful at all either. Took a seller on e-bay to explain I needed a powered USB port, which I then bought from him and all works OK. Very quiet and easy to use apart from that, and small and light.

Bristol City Greats

4.0 out of 5 stars Nostalgic moments, 17 Aug 2009
This review is from: Bristol City Greats (Paperback)
You forget how many of these guys I have actually seen play. Clearly not since the 70s in my case, but a great way to spend Christmas afternoon, when surrounded by Birmingham City supporters.
I too enjoyed Mr. Dziekanowski playing in the honoured red shirt. I remember shaking hands with Andy Cole after a terrific run and goal at Southend. Also remember some of the less well known, but equally important names to the history - especially the Ashton Gate 8 who should never be forgotten and what they did - it would NEVER happen again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Memory Card 2GB, 17 Aug 2009
2GB works better on our computer as we don't need special adaptors as with 4+GB memory

4.0 out of 5 stars Useful second / first battery, 17 Aug 2009
works fine - now we have 2 batteries, but this clearly lasts longer - which is exactly why it was bought.
