100 Maths Framework Lessons for Year 3, 4 Feb 2013
I agree with the most helpful critical reviewer's comments. The possible fundamental flaw in the format of the book is that 100 lessons takes the reader / teacher up to the February Half Term. Having said that I bought the book as it has some good ideas and with the accompanying CD of printable resources being Smart Notebook Interactive Whiteboard compatible, it is a useful title - won't necessarily save your Sundays from planning but a useful point to start from.

Belkin Pleated Sleeve, 29 Nov 2012
In a word excellent. Well made and fits the iPad 2 accessorised with an iPad Smart cover perfectly. It has an outside zip pocket useful for carrying the USB cable and headphones as well as a stylus or iPhone.

Scribble Marker pen, 17 Nov 2012
The nib is just a little too soft and spongy for the pen to be used as a stylus for the iPad 2 by children using learning to write apps.

1 Out of 10 for another political memoir, 31 Jan 2012
An OK read but not a title I would be telling everybody I meet. Peter Hyman was previously on the staff at 10 Downing Street when Tony Blair was Prime Minister. In a "Road to Damascus" moment, Mr Hyman decides to switch career and join the teaching profession. The book is written at the time that he must have been preparing for his PGCE or something of the sort as Mr Hyman is currently (January 2012) Deputy Head at a Secondary School in West London and about to become Chief of a Free School in East London. My most memorable part of the book is when Mr Hyman sees how disjointed political vision is from the ground truth. For a politican to say that education must improve measured by exam results is very reliant on students who might not have the best attendance record passing exams.

Beautiful Boxed Set, 28 Jan 2012
It's a brilliant television series. Really entertaining for children and children at heart alike. Each story is really engaging and wonderful to watch. The extra features on each DVD are really lovely too. Each DVD has been programmed or set up so that rather than being on loop from the main menu, it will automatically play if no action is taken which enables unlimited viewing pleasure for really little people.

I'm going to save my money..., 28 Jan 2012
Although it is advertised as a Charlie & Lola story, it is not one of the originals written by Lauren Child. The format is simply a lift of the television episode - which is OK if you prefer the book version or want to encourage reading. It is also produced the US division of a UK publisher. The text is not Americanised in any way. As Lola might say "It's just not never quite really simply the same..."

A Bit Lost - a fun read..., 17 Sep 2011
As soon as I read this to my two year old daughter, she said "Again! Again!" And, because of the way the story is written, it can be read again and again. The story is wonderfully silly in the way squirrel tries to follow Baby Owl's description of its Mummy.

Excellent e-reader wallet, 23 July 2011
Very suitable for the Sony PRS-505 e-reader. Not too much space around the sides so as the e-reader is engulfed by neoprene. The product itself feels well made. Very proud to own such an accessory for my e-reader that I carry around with me all the time. If it helps those thinking about buying the product, the case measures approx 20 cm wide (zip to zip end) and 14 cm (from opening to base) deep.
