4.0 out of 5 stars Jerry Lee...? A straw? Poodle? Hmm...., 31 Mar. 2005
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: K-9 [DVD] [1989] (DVD)
A Movie made for dog lovers. Jerry Lee is just the kind of character whom you'd love to jump in your tv sets and hug to death. Everybody must surely want a dog who could drink with a straw - Makes my Golden Retriver look simple! Thats def something he's not though. If you love Cop meets Dog, Dog drives Cop mad kinda movies, this is the movie for you! It may be 16 years old, but it hasn't lost any of it's charm, I blame Jerry Lee.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lifehouse At It's Best., 31 Mar. 2005
This review is from: Lifehouse (Audio CD)
This is the third album from the now American/Canadian threesome (Bryce being the most recent band member, as from the end of last year). This being their self-titled album, has a lot of positive energy included in the lyrics are the amazing music production. Jason Wade really has got some talent since he wrote all of this album, nothing new to LH fans who should all know he write all his own songs. Another thing the United Kingdom should feel special about, two extra bonus songs which don't lack in anything the album has already got. Lyrics, musical production, and presence are all here, you have nothing to feel bad about if you are debating to buy this amazingly brilliant album. Thinking of hitting the Buy Now button, but with reservations? No need - Lifehouse has everything you're looking for in a Modern Rock/Alt album. This is quite simply the album of the year. Buy now, or forever regret the astonishing talent of this group.
Break Down Of The First 3 Songs:
1. Come Back Down: Staggering start to the album. Jason Wade bursts with talent, with the incredible voice coming out from him.
2. You & Me: The first single to come from "Lifehouse". Not the common choice, since many groups tend to release an up tempo single first of all. However, as much as this was a bold move, it was also a smart move. The single has spent 8 weeks on the Adult Top 40 Billboard charts in America, which was before the only recently video came out for You & Me. The single took a dip and once again is rising up the charts once more.
3. Blind: Personally my favourite from the album. Lyrics are just as great as the others, but the production and energy just grabs me on this one. Amazingly addictive. Great stuff from the masters.
Reason for just doing 3 songs? All of these songs are brilliant, amazing... you get the idea. I wouldn't wanna repeat myself on each and everyone.
Like I said, if you're having second thoughts on this album, DON'T. It's a mistake to not buy this album. It's easily the best album from LH. It's worth every penny, that I promise you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money for sure.., 23 Jan. 2004
The 15gb version of the hit MP3 Player iPod is worth the value, believe me. Lemme put it this way...the 20gb has 5,000 songs right? Now at 5,000 songs thats a cost of about £290..seems a little bit much huh? Now this version is only £235, and is only 1300 songs less. It seems nothing, and in fact its better if you have more than 2500 songs but don't want to pay out the cost of the 20gb. The 15 does come with all the extras which makes it the best value for money on the iPod. Buy now and see what kind of MP3 this is.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fancy a movie a cut above the rest...?, 18 Jan. 2004
Barbershop is a basic plot, basic day script (Meaning 99.9999% of the movie is set within a day) but for a very strange reason, i loved the comedy of the movie! It's not the kind of movie i go for, but i'm glad i bought the movie on the offchance. It's got a great feel to it and really does set you're mind wondering. I wonder if BS2 is going to be as good though...hmmmm.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soulful debut album from Heather Headley, 18 Jan. 2004
This review is from: This Is Who I Am (Audio CD)
This album is just the best soul album i've ever owned. This is who i am, has really got that emotional grip on me, it's got everything a modern day album should have, including the amazing talent of Heather Headley. I first heard of her when a friend of mine had told me about the song 'I wish i wasn't', and ever since then i had been hooked on this beautiful voice. The album goes through various meanings behind the songs...from Heartbreak, loving somebody and natures of a man. If you like powerful voices with a smooth texture to go along with it. If soul's your thang then be sure to get this album. It's a gem, believe me, theres no song on here that you will skip, so whatcha waiting for? Put it in your basket right now!

4.0 out of 5 stars Frankie sets a style for Latino/Soul/RnB sound lovers, 17 Jan. 2004
This review is from: What's a Man to Do? (Audio CD)
Frankie J's album is in one word...TIGHT! Now i know some of yall don't know tight, but it does mean amazing...well in this case anyways. The best tracks on the album are..
Whats a man to do? : The first song on the album. It's my favorite and has great lyrics.
Don't wanna try/Ya no es lgual: This was the first single off the album, and it's soooo good. The lyrics are great and i'm glad he released this one first. It's very emotional and is a great chilling song.
Be home soon: This start of this song says it all. It's enough to make somebody cry. Frankie J has that emotion in his voice, which just sets off a mood inside of you. He has a great voice and i hope that he does try and start a career over in the United Kingdom. There isn't much Latin singers with this much talent so i think he would do well here.
Get this album, and i'm sure it will always be in your cd player. It's got songs to suit all moods on here so it's a perfect addition for the rest of your cd's. It's worth every me. I gave it 4 stars though as well...not eveybody can be perfect eh?

5.0 out of 5 stars An iPod? Well it's the best buy for the modern audio future, 17 Jan. 2004
The ipod looks and feels like a million bucks. With ipod fans ranging from 50 cent (As seen in the P.I.M.P video...with appearences at the start and at the P.I.M.P meeting) Mary J Blige, in Love @ First Site and of course users such as David Beckham and millions of users around the world. The iPod is the mp3 player which is most known, but there is a reasons behind that. One is that it's owned by one of the world biggest companys, Apple Another reason is the sleek sexy but cool design thats enough to make anyone want a iPod in their pocket. The only bad thing though is the price. If you don't even know 5000 songs, yet still want all the extras (Note: the extras are not included in the 10gb versions, so it's worth paying out a little more just to take advantage of value) and also if £290 is breaking the bank a little, then do settle for the All new 15gb Apple iPod. It is cheeper but only 1,300 songs less. Check it out on Amazon as it has been replaced on here from the 10gb version. If you do decide to buy and experience the iPod, then you won't be dissapointed. You'll also be experiencing the 2004k sound.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Gift For Children..., 18 Nov. 2003
This Letter from santa really is a great present for christmas. Although it's not very educational (In the 'school' way anyways) it does teach your kid that their imagonation is very important when santa is involved! It's a great idea and is really easy to personalise, so i suggest you hit that buy button because it's worth the money in my eyes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Debut for a Great Singer..., 12 Nov. 2003
This review is from: My Soul (Audio CD)
Singer Songwriter, Maria, who was also born in Europe, brings us her debut album, 'My Soul'. Personally i feel that she has done this at a great time. with singers currently loosing their touch, Maria gives us a breath of fresh air with this album. The first single is in fact 'I give, you take', a great single for a great singer. I reccomend any R&B/Soul lover buying this, as it's a real good buy. Everysong has it's own feel, and Maria really has a good strong voice. Buy now and i'm sure you won't be dissapointed.
