5.0 out of 5 stars It's so quiet!, 30 Jan 2014

Having had previous incarnations of the MacBook Pro's, the SSD makes a remarkable difference, you just do not hear any noise coming from the computer at all! It's worth mentioning that when you do want noise, the speakers deliver some of the best sound quality I've heard from a laptop.

It has all the performance that you would expect and the retina display is stunning.

Of course it's all packed into the sleek aluminium frame that is synonymous with Apple products.

You can get a cheaper laptop with the processing power of a MacBook and these days Windows will deliver a similar efficiency as OSX, but the thing I find repeatedly with a MacBook is I simply enjoy using it rather than just seeing it as a tool to serve a task in hand, probably that's just me though and I should do something more constructive with my time other than writing Amazon reviews..............

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, 16 Aug 2011

I see no reason to pay any more for what is essentially an oversized set of tweezers and they certainly do the intended job of removing the pin-bones from fish quite efficiently. Not only that but they also prevent any marital disputes over the inappropriate use of the bathroom tweezers!

5.0 out of 5 stars A True Gem, 21 July 2004
This was my first introduction to Morcheeba and it is still by far my favourite album of theirs. The remix/b side disc is brilliant, very good for those smokey evenings! On a whole, the album is a true display of what trip hop can and should be.......
