Inferno: (Robert Langdon Book 4)
Inferno: (Robert Langdon Book 4)
Price: 1.99

3.0 out of 5 stars fast paced but derivative, 19 Aug 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is standard Dan Brown stuff. Think of The Da Vichi Code set in Florence and you will not be wide of the mark! That said, if you enjoyed his previous books this will almost certainly hit the spot. I'll undoubtedly read the next Robert Langdon novel regardless of this, I just won't expect anything innovative and new.

Sony DREX300IPB Made for iPod Headphones with Quality Sound
Sony DREX300IPB Made for iPod Headphones with Quality Sound

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Sound Quality, 27 Oct 2010
This product is a massive improvement over the headphones that come with the iPhone. The fit snugly in the ears and are comfortable to wear. The base enhancement is enormous! The only downside is that they cause external sound to be muffled, as such if you like to sing along to your music your voice will sound perculiar - like speaking with your fingers in your ears... my fellow commuters will probably be glad of this discouragement from singing anyway! Highly recommended!

2.0 out of 5 stars So so, 23 Feb 2010
This product is OK, but I could live without it. It leaves you smelling like you have been hanging out next to a barbecue. The sticks keep going out and don't really generate that much warmth unless you light them at both ends. A good pair of fleece lined gloves works a lot better.

Nexxus Silicone Case for Sony Ericsson G502 - Ice
Nexxus Silicone Case for Sony Ericsson G502 - Ice

3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't protect the screen, 23 Feb 2010
This case protects the body of the phone but not the screen. I combined mine with an acetate screen protector to serve this purpose with the case preventing the acetate from peeling away. Mine lasted for about 8 months before it started to fall apart, which I did not feel was all that bad at the price paid.

4.0 out of 5 stars Line 'm up to knock 'm in, 23 Feb 2010
This is a well made product. It makes it very easy to mark the ball for putting alignment. With the Sharpie pen provided it makes it easy to make a line which is visible from a long way away from the ball allowing the golfer to get as wide an view as possible of the green's contours. I also found this very useful on tee shots where the ball could be aligned with the target for the shot. This had the added benefit that, at impact, an imprint of the line is left on the club head. Whilst easy to remove this gives a good impression of the the position at which the ball made contact with the club head. Highly recommended.

Longridge Butthead Cover Frog
Longridge Butthead Cover Frog

3.0 out of 5 stars A great novelty but not that handy for day-to-day use, 23 Feb 2010
This review is from: Longridge Butthead Cover (Sports)
I bought this as a gift for my wife. She uses a Callaway FTiQ driver (square head). It is a very snug fit which makes taking it on and off the club a bit of a chore. It is not ideal to struggle with a head cover before playing a shot, it is very easy to end up in the wrong mental place! It may work better with smaller, or more regular shaped, driver heads. It is a very well constructed product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as useful as other Rough Guides, 23 Feb 2010
I am a big fan of the Rough Guide series. The problem with this guide is that there is not actually that much to see in The Bahamas. We were based in one small location on Great Abaco, and whilst the book was useful to a point we only used about 5 pages of it. It would simply have been enough to have thumbed through a copy in a bookshop or at the airport. Perhaps if we had been visiting a larger destination, such as Nassau, it would have been more useful but if you are going to smaller location this may not be the book for you.

Golf is Not a Game of Perfect
Golf is Not a Game of Perfect
by Robert J. Rotella
Edition: Paperback
Price: 6.29

5.0 out of 5 stars Wise, caring and fatherly advice, 23 Feb 2010
This is an excellent book. I play the game to a decent level (8 handicap) but having read this book it has allowed me to take my game to a further level. Much of the advice is common sense but seeing it written down fixes it your mind and reassures you that you are thinking in the right way. As much as anything it reminds you that you play the game because you enjoy it. All too often prior to reading this book I found myself trying to rush to the end of the game to protect my score. Now I enjoy every stroke: the good for obvious reasons, but the bad as an opportunity to take on another challenge! Thank you Dr Rotella!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not always Gelert, 15 Dec 2009
I ordered this item from this seller. When it arrived it was manuafactured by a company called 'Highlander'. Whilst it is very similar to the advertised gelert product it is obviously not identical. If you want to be sure of receiving the Gelert product you might want to source it from elsewhere.

3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent touching film but no benefit from HD, 9 Jan 2009
This is an excellent moving film. Morgan Freeman's naration is excellent adding a real feeling of care and warmth for the penguins. It is highly recommended! The content of the film definitely deserves 4 stars at least and this review should be read in this context.

So why only 3 stars? This is a review of the Blu-ray version of the film. So what is this film like in HD (bearing in mind that this comes at a 200% premium compared the standard definition version March of the Penguins - Luc Jacquet [2005])? The HD adds nothing. At times it seems more like an upscaled DVD. Certainly compared with the same material from Planet Earth on Blu-ray this is very poor. Bearing in mind that this was shown in the cinemas on a large screen this must be a flaw in the conversion. What a let down as it is not hard to see how beautiful this could have been.
