5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!, 7 Jan 2012
This review is from: The Taking (Audio CD)
I have to hand it to duff the guy is a genious. This is now probably one of my all time favourite albums, even right up there with appetite for destruction. Duffs voice is very punk and the style of music is very punk/heavy in many ways plus similar to guns n roses aswell.
Lords of Abbadon - what a start to an album!
Executioners song - highlights just how good the guitarests are in the band
dead skin - best of duffs vocals
cocaine - this is my fav track on the album although the intstrumental version is also brilliant!
had the privilege to see these guys live in glasgow were amazing live! would reccomend them to all guns n roses fans.

4.0 out of 5 stars watch it!, 29 Dec 2011
This review is from: Thirteen [DVD] (DVD)
thirteen is the story of 13 year old tracy who is envious of badass popular girl evie and decides to attempt to become her friend, after little effort by tracy evie befriends tracy and introduces her to a life of stealing, drugs, sex, and making her mums life a misery through her dramatic personality change. Asides from the unrealistic element of the girls not looking anywhere near thirteen this is a great film with a very stylish approach on the way tracy changes herself completely to fit in but then regrets her decision in the end. the only dissapointment is the ending which i personally feel could have been altered slightly but otherwise this is a must watch film with brilliant acting from both girls (evan rachel wood and niki reid) and particularly the mother (holly hunter).

4.0 out of 5 stars simple sexy and hilarious, 12 Dec 2011
And then came lola follows the life of lola a woman who struggles to make her female relationships work because of her many issues, she is asked favours by her girlfriend which she finds difficulty in following through with, going through many funny scenarios on the way. This film has a very simple story line but because of the witty script and lola's fun personality it makes an enjoyable film also with a few interesting sex scenes between the general an amusing enjoyable film.

4.0 out of 5 stars a heartwrenching masterpiece, 12 Dec 2011
this is a beautiful story of a young girl - mary who is sent to a boarding school and ends up sharing a room with victoria and polly who she finds out are secret lovers. However there secret is soon exposed when victorias sister finds out about there relationship and because of her strict christain family who would not except her for who she is, she ends it with polly. Polly then gradually looses her mind fighting for victoria to return to her and it all ends in serious consequences. This film in general is wonderfully directed showing incredible passion between the girls which makes you feel so much sympathy for the character polly. The script is also magnificently written especially through the narrator (mary) who gains all the best lines. I will admit the ending is absoluetely gutting and very upsetting but as a film it is a masterpiece of a love story and many will adore and appreciate it as i do.

4.0 out of 5 stars we were never Being Boring, 27 Feb 2011
This review is from: Behaviour: Remastered (Audio CD)
I will admit that not every song on this album is the PSBs at there best but the songs which are good are really, REALLY good therefore make up for the less satisfactory ones:
Being Boring - this song is luringly beautiful with lyrics that give you goosebumps
This must be the place i waited years to leave - The first PSB song i ever heard at the age of 8 years old watching the vhs of there Performance concert, in my oppinion one of there best songs ever (best song on album)
Jealousy - An epic finish to the album again with unbelievable lyrics, and a piano part i so wish I could play
those are the best tracks but aside from those, so hard and how can you expect to be taken seriously are also excellent
If you like this album and Introspective id reccomend you to purchase PSBs Perfomance dvd aswell, enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars PSB Perfection, 27 Feb 2011
This review is from: Actually (Audio CD)
This is the second of the PSB must have albums (the first being please) and its home to many of there well known classics
Its a sin - everyone loves this one, its a masterpiece you can sing to with passion
What have i done to deserve this - a collaboration made in heavin, as amazing as the song is in the first place it would be nothing without the incredible Dusty Springfiled, great song
Heart - I always think of the pandemonium tour when i hear this one as it was the first played after the intro music, excellent uplifting song
But the best in my oppinion are Rent, Kings Cross and Shopping which are the more low key yet magnificent tracks
Along with Please as a PSB fan you are obliged to own this album, enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tennant and lowes Masterpiece, 27 Feb 2011
This review is from: Please (Audio CD)
I adore this album this is without a doubt the greatest PSB album ever
two divided by zero - great song for tavelling and just a stylishly cool song
suburbia - this is the original version i think and its more stripped down and simple yet very effective, incredible
west end girls - wow...its impossible to explain how amazing this song is
Why dont we live together - "there comes a time in everyones life, when all the parties every night, there not enough, you want something more...I want you...I want you" and after that line I am in love with Neil tennant, this song is a great example of just how good Tennants vocals are, they are sensational and this song shows them off brilliantly (best song on album) Every PSB fan must own this album.

5.0 out of 5 stars SID LIVES, 27 Feb 2011
I bought this book shortly after i discovered the Sex Pistols and after reading it have became a huge Sid Vicious fan. It includes quotes from close friends and associates of Sid plus a foreword from Malcolm Mclaren. Its ironic that the author never got to meet Sid because it seems as though he knew him very well. Theres a few great pics of Sid inside aswell. This is the best Sid Vicious book Ive read and I'd reccomend anyopne interested in Sid Vicious, Sex pistols or Nancy Spungen to read it. An unputdownable read.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best of there modern albums, 27 Feb 2011
This review is from: Fundamental (Audio CD)
This in my oppinion is one of PSBs best albums, its right up there with Please and Actually, every single song on it is truly wonderful, the lyrics especially are amazing and Neil Tennants vocals seem as incredible as they have ever been if not better
The sodom and gommorah show, minimal, intergal - the more trance like tracks on the album, all excellent (integral the best)
Numb - chilling and beautiful, tennants vocals at there best
i made my excuses and left - very sad but genius song
All are brill and i reckon this is the best they have done in years, buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of PSBs finest, 27 Feb 2011
This review is from: Disco (Audio CD)
This is the first and greatest of the boys Disco albums with truly excellent remixes of all songs around the time of the releases of Please and Actually plus two of the ultimate b sides
In the night - truly insane song in the first place but an even more incredible remix (best song on album)
Paninaro - Stretches on for almost 10 minutes chris lowe is a genious, this remix shows his skills at there best AWESOME!!
So in conclusion this is a must have for all PSB fans out there, you will love it
