5.0 out of 5 stars Our friends across the pond!, 20 Jan. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The US Albums (Audio CD)
Very similar to the 2009 mono box in terms of packaging and attention to detail...in other words fantastic!..I love the smell of a brand new box set! And nice to hear the albums that Americans heard at the time...whether you think it's right or wrong it's a brand new perspective and there are some very interesting mixes. Also Rubber Soul the American version is actually quite brilliant. I'm not saying it's better than the UK version but it is very folky and it's nice to hear the version that blew Brian Wilson away so much! Got it for 108 pound..but even at just short of 140 it's well worth it. Excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy from the USA, 29 Dec. 2013
This review is from: The Beatles In Mono (Audio CD)
Fabulous sound, amazingly packaged. But yes very expensive at near 200 quid. So a bit of a tip...buy this box set from amazon.com instead, I got it for 95 pound!..and that includes delivery!, I'm sure you'll agree that's a huge difference, and it only took 2 weeks to arrive.

Bonnie Scotland (Laurel & Hardy) [DVD] [1935]
Bonnie Scotland (Laurel & Hardy) [DVD] [1935]
Dvd ~ Stan Laurel

4.0 out of 5 stars november 2010 release, 2 Dec. 2010
this review is regarding the november 2010 release of bonnie scotland by orbit media ltd.
there are no dvd extras or subtitles which i thought was disappointing, but the actual film itself is transferred well with very good picture quality and it really is laurel and hardy at their finest. it has always been my favourite feature film of the boys so it is an essential purchase to compliment the 21 dvd boxset and is the first time released on dvd in the uk
