3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, 13 Sep 2014

Written from both Sky and Dylan's POV. The story is slow and lacks depth. It's goes straight into a romance without much foreplay. Sky is a normal working girl who meets a rock star with hidden secrets. Dylan is trying to find himself after losing it to drugs, drink and sex. Cliff hanger ending so it's a good job the second book is out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, 12 Sep 2014

I love this version much better than the whole new crowd and I gave that five stars. This version is more detailed, the characters are more realistic to the way they have lived and how they have been brought up (not stereo typing much). The story seems to flow better and it answers some questions left from the book. However it is different but the same... the ending is still the same .. Tray and Taryn still get their happy ending although I feel sad for Jace ... Tijan is one of my favourite writers ... If you haven't read any of Tijans books you are definitely missing out ....

What can I say ... Tijan is an amazing and talented writer. It's a great story, emotional and the characters are well developed. You can feel the emotions of all the characters and I loved Taryn, Tray, Jace and Mandy. In parts the story is emotional and sad but Taryn and Tray finally get their happy ending. A lovely story and one I will be reading again ....

Written from both Trey and Brooklyn's POV. I didn't feel much emotion or connection to the main characters. It was all I love him/her etc all the time. If they weren't having sex they weren't doing much else. Far too cheesy and unrealistic storyline. In fact half way through the book I was going to give up reading it but decided not to instead I just skipped page over page.

Written from Keegans POV. It is well written and you can feel the emotions of all the characters. I felt like shouting at Camden sometimes as his personality was hot and cold and I think I prefer his brother who was really sweet and caring. Camden was grumpy and closed off at first but eventually he comes around and turns into one super hot guy. It had a really good ending. Excellent read.

Written from Violets POV, who falls in love with her step brother Zane. She meets Zane after her boyfriend dumps her and although she doesn't know who he is, he knows that she's going to be his step sister before her mother has had the chance to tell her. Zane falls in love with Violet but is a hiding a secret that will tear them apart. Will Violet forgive him? Well you have to read it to find out. The characters are well written and you did feel the emotions of them. Although I loved the story, I really thought the writing was a little robotic, however it is worth the five stars. It's funny in parts, romantic and has lovable characters .... It is a must read ...

I love Tillie Coles books, she is one excellent author. She captures the scenes and emotions perfectly. This is told from
Natasha POV, who after a traumatic breakup moves away to Canada with her friend Tink. Tink her super gay best friend who cherishes and protects her. The book has some funny moments from the two fun loving Geordie pair. Natasha falls in love with an actor Tudor. Tudor is hiding a secret one that may tear them apart. Natasha believes that honesty and trust is the foundation of a good solid relationship. So there is a decision to be made
It's highly recommended.

I found this book difficult to get emotionally involved in especially with the characters. Bellamy whined and she was always the victim, constantly being the damsel in distress, except near the end where she kicked some ass. However, I did feel sorry for her that she lost her baby. That must have been very traumatic to go through especially without your families support. Luke on the other hand was horrible to her, and he constantly blamed her for everything. She was an 18 year old girl who was infatuated with him and he was six years older than her. Even if she did seduce him he could of said no quite easily. What did it matter to him she was a virgin and why should she needed to have told him first. He used her and threw her away like garbage. Is it any wonder she didn't tell him about their baby. After what he said to her I certainly would not have told him or got him involved. He even admitted after using her that he had brought along his girlfriend's to family gatherings, just to ensure she kept away from him. How cruel was that knowing how she felt about him. Why on earth she took him back so easily is beyond me. Luke was just too annoying, blaming it all on Bellamy, he needed to man up and deal with his own consequences. The whole story was unrealistic, very long drawn out and cheesy in parts.

Written from Tates and Blaze POV. After Tate loses her parents and finds her boyfriend cheating she moves away to another town with her friend. She meets Blaze and they fall in love. In my opinion Blaze is really cheesy, but I like the story. The characters are well described and you feel their emotions. Worth the read ....

Written from both Anna's and Caleb's POV. This is a heart breaking story about three young people. Jessi, Caleb's step sister takes her own life to protect him from their secret. Caleb finds Jessi's suicide note so he blames himself for her death and then theirs Anna. Anna is both Jessi's and Caleb's best friend. She secretly has always loved Caleb and is the singer in his band Fringe. Caleb has always protected and loved Anna but because of her age was waiting until legal sexual consent before he could make his move. This is a long drawn out story but yet an emotional one. I enjoyed it apart from the long wait of finding out why Jessi killed herself and why Caleb blamed himself. It was very frustrating, the story would have been better planned and understood if the reasons were clear at the beginning so that the reader could connect to the characters emotionally. Worth the read
