5.0 out of 5 stars A way out, 5 May 2014
Not everyone who identifies as gay wants to be so, and with the unscientific anti-change lobby being so vocal it is hard for those who find the homosexual lifestyle unhealthy and empty (something that research shows is more common than the homosexual lobby will admit) the ways of getting out are becoming harder to find. This book will not be for everyone but is a needed resource by a well trained and experienced therapist.

Edited having spoken with people who have used the workbook to a five star review. Yes, this book will not be for everybody (especially those like Dr Jessen who want to ridicule change but not attempt it) but for those who cannot find a professional therapist who is willing to work with them this book is a superb tool to get started with as it is based, unlike Gay Affirmative Therapy, on sound and tested psychological principles which have been shown - aside from the biased writings of the pro-gay lobby via APA section 44 and others - to be safe and effective (according to research published in peer reviewed journals and accepted by the wider APA membership).

Do not let comments about bigotry and "internalised homophobia" put you off. No professional mental health body recognises internalised homophobia as a condition or concept and, as research keeps showing, it is not society that causes mental health problems amongst the homosexuality community ([...]). Change is possible and this may be the tool to help you if you want to.

My Genes Made Me Do It!: A Scientific Look at Sexual Orientation
My Genes Made Me Do It!: A Scientific Look at Sexual Orientation

4.0 out of 5 stars Dynamite to blow apart the born gay argument., 27 Jan. 2011
While this book, in printed version, is out of date the online version is being updated to look at the new evidence that appears. As such it is a must read for anyone who want to look at the scientific claims behind homosexuality, especially as it quotes the research by Dean Hamer, Michael King and other pro-gay scientists that they appear to avoid mentioning. In the chapter on the gay gene it quotes the 2005 study where Dean Hamer found no evidence for the gay gene, it quotes Michael King's twin study where he states that environment has to do with the causation of homosexuality. It shows the failings in the "gay in nature" research. My Genes Made Me Do It carries page after page of facts that pull down the born gay argument.

Written by a twin PhD who has done research into human genetics, and a professional investigative journalist, this is the type of book the gay lobby wants banned. On reading this it is easy to see why.

4.0 out of 5 stars superb item, 8 Jan. 2011
This review is from: Wind-Up Bee Torch
Brought this as a birthday present for a six year old. Good bright beam, and unlike other wind up torches doesn't have a flash mode which is not needed on most torches. The six year old loves this torch and is thinking of getting the ladybird torch to go with it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Propagagnda disguised as (poor) science, 16 Oct. 2010
It is a surprise to discover that Nature's Choice is written by a scientist. Based on talks given to a pro-gay organisation the author quotes reports which she claims proves homosexuality being natural but ignores to any proper depth the many reports and pieces of research that disagree with the research quoted in the book. What is more concerning is that this book is the basis of education in schools on homosexuality. If you are interested in the science of homosexuality there are much better books to go to.

1.0 out of 5 stars Olympic gold medal winning conclussion jumping, 3 Aug. 2010
This book claims to prove homosexuality as inborn but barely scratches the surface of the science. The authors use research to do with identical twins that is not only out of date but discredited ignoring the research that disagrees with their position. They then do the same with the research on hormones and homosexuality in non-human species. If this book was not by such eminent researchers it would be funny, but because of their status in the UK university system this book is dangerous.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seriously Good but not great, 25 Mar. 2010
A good cookery book but not much for those who are single and live along (just like most cookery books we don't seem to exist). Many of the recepies are great alternatives for dinner parties but not for everyday family meals or comfort food. Worth having on the bookshelf for ideas at Christmas and birthday parties but not for everyday.

4.0 out of 5 stars Trip down memmory lane, 27 Feb. 2010

Had these brought for me as a wonderful Christmas present. The edditing is very little and hardly noticeable. I have all of them on Video (which are now starting to get blurry) and any changes are hardley noticeable - each show went lasts almost the same as the episodes on video. Even with these edits they are much better than the mauling of the stroies by ITV.

1.0 out of 5 stars A Dangerous Trojan Horse, 28 Oct. 2009
As an ex-gay evangelical who has very good friends who are gay I was hoping for a positive balance between the compassion of Christ and Biblical theology. Instead I read a wishy washy book full of instruction about how to extand sloppy grace to people. Marin has accepted the pro-gay propoganda on science (you know the stuff that says people are born gay even though there is no evidence to back this claim up) and theology (homosexuality isn't really condemned in the Bible, we can ignore the Old Testament and Paul didn't know what he was talking about) without thinking so fails to hold a Biblical standard. The fact that the pro-gay community, including Obama's Anti-prejudice Tzar and Changing Attitudes, love Marin should tell us the danger of this book.

Exchanging the Truth of God for a Lie: One Man's Spiritual Journey to Find the Truth About Homosexuality...
Exchanging the Truth of God for a Lie: One Man's Spiritual Journey to Find the Truth About Homosexuality...
by Roy Clements

1.0 out of 5 stars An apt title - from truth to lie., 27 Oct. 2009
In this book Marks shows how he abandoned Scripture for a politically correct lie. Disappointed in not getting the level of healing he expected, and abandoning those who he helped change, Marks now proclaims his own "revelation". He shows a complete lack of understanding of Scriptural history, especially in relation to the cultures that surrounded the Israelites at the time of Moses. This leads to an ability to take the teaching in Romans out of context. Of course he gets the support of other pro-gay leaders. The change in attitude of Marks is a coup for them but a major disappointment for those who know the author and tried to help him sort himself out while he went through his crisis.
