A Classic. Worth a purchase alone for the 'One of those days in England' suite.
If you got have some Harper, along with Stormcock this is a must.

5.0 out of 5 stars some say its folk, 20 May 2010
A great record. Love the longer proggy tracks. Wonderfully played. There is a bit of everything here. Intersting choice of lyrics, gives it a timeless quality.
Took a chance with this from hearing a couple of tracks on Stuart Maconies Freak Zone, but well worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, 30 July 2009

Its took me over 30years to get this album, and I just can't get over how good it is! Wonderfully played and a great production. The best album by this band by far.
One of the finest moments is Stranger Than Fiction which then segues into Time For A Change, exquisite!
Be warned Second Thoughts contains alternative versions of songs from this album, but the originals are far superior. What a shame the band neglected their prog roots.

Wonderful ambient soundscape. It is summer, obviously an idealised english summer ! but never the less idylic. I agree with the review any fans of Mike Oldfield, Eno and FSOL will love this.I look forward to more releases.
My only complaint would be some of the voice samples are a bit overdone.

Hypnotic ! One of my favorite Reich works, a must have of modern orchestral music. This is the ECM version and possibly the best.

Dont buy this Yes fans! This is a great album, my personell fave, and deserves a proper assessment and analysis. What about giving it the 'Classic Album ' treatment. There are some good ones featuring Dark Side Of The Moon, Electric LadyLand,Machine Head etc. Surely the band would be interested if its done properly. It is pointless unless the band is involved.
I know more about this album than all these so called interested parties talking here(with the exception of SH and JA obviously!)Who are are all these nobodies anyway. Footage from Yessongs is poor, and the extras ? include a pointless gallery of some of the most unflattering pictures i have ever seen! What a dissapointment.
