5.0 out of 5 stars Could this be the BEST £17 I have EVER spent on my Computer......probably YES!, 28 July 2014

Firstly, pay heed to the dimensions as the heatsink tower is quite tall.

The fan clips on/off very easily and can be remounted front or back if you have any issues with it clearing your 1st ram stick. In my case it easily cleared my Corsair XMS3 so I fitted it blowing to the rear (if you pardon the expression!)

Also, as this is a HDT cooler base, do pay special attention to the thermal paste application. There are pretty much proven better methods than the 'pea size blob on CPU' so google/YouTube it.

Anyways, in a nutshell, this has lowered the temperature on my i7 cpu by over 20% at idle and roughly 33% under high gaming load.

Its not in a different league to the stock Intel cooler, its a different sport!

Amazingly good value for money AND they throw in a little tube of thermal paste.

Well done Cooler Master, Jobs a Gudun!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely monster superb card, 7 May 2013

First things first, this is one big unit that uses quite a lot of power. The length on the card is 267mm and if you measure round your PCI slot and the space available is close, say 270mm then the card WON'T fit. I had to modify my case which was a real barrel of laughs I can tell you. My job entails working on one very strange machine as I am a Tenpin Bowling machine tech so Im used to doing crazy, awkward adjustments.
Also, a tidy PSU will be required, one with two 6/8pin connectors and around 550watts min.
Anyways, this beast is now fitted in my i7 rig and it looks stunning! I had upgraded from a HD6850 and this blows that away. Up to now I have only played SKYRIM but that looks unreal, the lighting effects and textures are a sight to behold!
£171 represents incredible value for money. I'd say that this is the 'sweetspot' card right now and you'll struggle to better the quality of this device without spending quite a bit more.

This review is from: The Commanding Self (Paperback)
Idries Shah the sadly departed Teacher of the Age has once again dispensed an astonishing amount of knowledge and wisdom in just a few hundred pages. The quality of the great man's written English is delightful, putting many natives to shame.

You know the saying "It gave me food for thought."

This tome is a veritable banquet!

Lets start with 1st impressions. Very well packaged, a lovely "I mean business" looking card. Suitable looking fan/cooling and everything you could need in the box with it (molex to 6pin converter, driver disc and crossfire bridge)

Installation was simple, swap cards, run disc, jobs a good'un!

So, to the important part-How does the card perform?

Absolutely 100% superb! 7.7 on Windows Exp Index. Just been running FalloutNewVegas on Ultra High quality with a pretty high resolution and it looks beautiful.

Also, quiet and cool under load.

This card received very favourable reviews when it was around the £160/170 price point.

Its current price represents astonishing value for money.

Go for it, buy one, you'll enjoy every penny you spent on this monster chunk of Tech!

5.0 out of 5 stars More of the same from Bethesda, 28 Nov. 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
If you enjoyed Fallout3 then NewVegas will be right up your street!

If you are new to the whole series then mix an RPG with a FPS, get ready for titanic struggles for existence, shock, horror, humour and the usual Bethesda twists and turns.

In short, this game is why I upgraded my whole computer system, in order to be able to run it. What a good idea that was as NewVegas is BRILLIANT!
