5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely anthology, 3 Feb 2011
Frost is a favourite poet of mine. Though not a complete collection, this anthology contains many of his best works. Easily searchable on Kindle, this is an absolute bargain.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boyd flops, 19 Feb 2010
This review is from: Ordinary Thunderstorms (Paperback)
Big fan of William Boyd. 'Restless' was excellent, this latest is a huge disappointment. The plot is forced from the start (even the name Adam Kindred is just too cheesy). By the time I had reached page 100, so many preposterous and sloppily-written sections had passed that I gave up. The main characters are one-dimensional and deeply unattractive. Next time, WB's editor should use more than a spell-checker to see if his book is ready to publish.

5.0 out of 5 stars A book to dip into, 11 Nov 2009
Excellent condition, quick delivery. Full marks. A useful, brief canter through the field of Greek philosophy and an excellent presentation of the thoughts of Marcus Aurelius.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worth a try, 26 Oct 2009
This review is from: Nike Juice Plus (Apparel)
I found a Juice golf ball when playing a match. Had never heard of them, but 'gave it a go'. A revelation! Definitely more distance, and less susceptible to damage than most. An economic alternative to the Pro-V, and just as good. I buy them by choice now.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looking for a good read?, 6 Oct 2009
This review is from: Shuttlecock (Hardcover)
Better at character than McEwan, better than Ishiguro at storyline. Britain's best; everything by him is worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to read, 6 Sep 2009
An erudite but accessible account. Will confirm what believers already knew, but gives them fresh insight; a thought-provoking book for doubters.

For the price a short, informative well-produced guide. Just the thing for a pocket or a rucksack.

5.0 out of 5 stars Charming, 2 Feb 2009
Foster - Songs; Ungar - Ashokan Farewell
The title track (Ashokan Farewell) is a haunting melody beautifully played by the composer. The rest of disc is a bonus, including further works by Jay Ungar and songs by Stephen Foster. Highly recommended.
